DEERFIELD BEACH

Sept. 29 A man entered Bank Atlantic at 1299 S. Military Trail. He produced a semi-automatic pistol, jumped the counter and collected $7,000 in cash. The cash was not attached to dye packs or a tracking device. The man was recognized as the person who had robbed the bank twice before. The man fled the scene.

Sept. 29 A man and a woman were arrested and charged with felony narcotics at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. They were observed smoking narcotics by a deputy.

Sept. 29 A woman reported her car parked at 900 SE 21 Ave. broken into and her purse, wallet, cash and credit cards stolen.

Sept. 30 A home at 5203 NW 1 Way was broken into and a flat-screen television was stolen. Interior of the home was ransacked.

Sept. 30 A man was arrested and charged with DUI at 1100 W. Hillsboro Blvd. While driving, he struck the rear of another car while that car was stopped at a traffic light.

Sept. 30 A woman reported her home at 1441 SE 3 Court broken into and clothing stolen. She believes her exfiancée stole the items.

 

DEERFIELD – District 4

Sept. 25 Residential burglary took place on SW 4 Street in Deer Run. Victim left his residence at 12:30 p.m. and when he returned at 3:20 p.m., he noticed his front door pried and $30,000 missing from his unlocked safe in his dresser drawer.

 

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Sept. 21 Two women who share a residence at 1930 NE 28 St. reported their home broken into. One woman reported that $3,500 was taken from her room and the other woman reported that $280 was taken from her room. Jewelry was also stolen.

Sept. 23 A man was observed attempting to break into an apartment at 2101 NE 39 St., #A. He was seen with a sledge hammer. Upon being observed, he fled.

DEERFIELD BEACH

Sept. 22 A woman reported that her apartment at 884 NW 45 St. was broken into and a laptop valued at $1,000 stolen.

Sept. 22 A woman was arrested and charged with grand theft. She stole $4,305 from her employer AI Medical Imaging at 1890 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Sept.22 A man was arrested and charged with felony narcotics. A deputy found powder cocaine on him at 200 SW 1 St.

Sept.22 A man reported his car stolen from the Atlantic Pavilion Parking Garage at 245 North A1A.

Sept. 23 A woman reported that another woman stabbed her while she was at a social gathering at 175 SW 3 St. The woman was stabbed in her left calf following an argument.

Sept.23 A man reported that his home at 212 SE 8 Terr. was broken into. Rear door was smashed. The man reported two laptop computers and a check stolen.

Sept. 23 A man reported that his home at 1309 SE 7 St. was burglarized. There were no signs of forced entry and the burglar may have entered through a dog door. The man reported that three guns were stolen.

DEERFIELD – District 4

Sept. 13 Residential burglary was reported in Crystal Key Point, on NW 53 Court at 3:46 a.m. Unknown suspect entered the residence via an unlocked sliding glass door and removed a blue dell notebook computer.

Sept. 17 Burglary occurred in an occupied residence on Jefferson Drive in Deer Creek at 4:07 a.m. Unknown person made an unforced entry into a home and stole a flat screen TV and clothing. Scene was processed, DNA recovered.

Sept. 12 The superintendent of a construction site at 3260 N. Federal Hwy. reported that his iPad valued at about $800 was stolen.

Sept. 12 A woman reported that she went to CVS Pharmacy at 3850 N. Federal Hwy. to pick up medication, diapers and training pants for her son. Upon arrival, she was told that the items had already been signed for. The woman said she had not picked up the items. A survellance camera showed that a man had picked up the items.

Sept. 13 A woman said that her sister called her and told her the door to her home was open. When the woman came to her home at 3317 SW 3 St., she found that $100 and a watch had been stolen.

Sept.13 A woman reported that a man entered her home at 1300 SW 10 Terr. with a gun and demanded money. The woman gave the man $2,300. He escaped in a car.

Sept. 13 A man was speaking to another person when he noticed a man enter his office and take a gym bag containing $1,100 and clothing. The thief fled in a pickup truck. The man believes the individual with whom he was speaking was acting as a distraction so the theft could occur. Incident was reported at 665 SE 10 St., #100.

Sept.14 A man was stopped for a traffic matter at 500 SW 2 Ave. The deputy detected an odor of marijuana. He was found to be on parole for strong-arm robbery. Man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence, resisting arrest and violation of parole.

Sept. 15 A man was arrested and charged with obstruction and resisting arrest at 2201 W. Sample Rd. The man refused to leave a business and became belligerent.

Sept. 16 A man was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and an expired tag at 2400 SW 10 Dr.

Sept. 16 An unknown person broke into a home at 605 Jefferson Dr. and stole a flat-screen television and clothing.

DEERFIELD – District 4

Sept. 7 Residential burglary occurred at Deer Pointe, NW 36 Avenue, at 12:59 a.m. Victim stated that between 7:20 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., unknown suspect(s) smashed a rear sliding door, gaining entry to the residence. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed jewelry. Total loss: approximately $20,000.

Sept. 8 Conveyance burglary was reported at 3901 W. Hillsboro Blvd. at 8:33 p.m. Victim stated that between 5 and 6 p.m., unknown suspect(s) smashed out the window of his 2004 Explorer. Once inside, suspect(s) removed a leather case.

Sept. 10 Auto theft took place in Riverglen, on NW 45 Avenue at 11:23 a.m. between 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 and 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 10. Unknown suspect stole the vehicle from the parking lot by unknown means. Affidavit was signed and entered into teletype.

Sept. 13 Armed robbery was reported at 3825 W. Hillsboro Blvd. at 7:55 a.m. Three black male suspects entered the store with firearms, wearing gloves, mask and hoodies. Once inside the store, they directed the only two employees present to open the office and the safe, while holding firearms toward their heads. Both complied. A perimeter was established using K-9 and Aviation. Suspects were not located. The suspects entered the store five minutes before closing. There were no customers present. Entire incident was captured on security video cameras.

Sept. 6 A man reported that a man with whom he had been socializing stole his car and laptop computer at 2100 NE 39 St., #16.

Sept. 8 A woman reported an outboard motor and large cooler stolen from her boat at 2800 NE 30 Ave., #12C.

Sept. 9 A man reported that two men approached him at 311 SE 1 Way. One man was holding a gun and demanded his gold chain and cash. The man surrendered it. The robbers fled.

Sept. 9 A woman reported that someone stole a tag from her vehicle parked at 740 SE 1 Way.

Sept. 9 A woman reported that she put $1,000 in the top dresser at her residence at 424 Lock Road, #71. She reported the money missing. There were no signs of a break-in.

Sept. 9 The front glass at Valero at 710 S. Federal Highway was smashed. It was reported that $200 was stolen from the cash register.

 

DEERFIELD – District 4

August 29 Conveyance burglary was reported at 2841 W. Hillsboro Blvd. at 7:33 p.m. Victim’s Nissan Rogue was parked in front of office building. Unknown person smashed right rear passenger window, reached inside broken window without opening the door and removed a small brown canvas of clothing, $150, and left the location.

August 30 Conveyance burglary was reported at Pine Tree Apartments on Lock Road at 2:48 p.m. Victim advised that unknown suspect(s) broke into two of his work vans by unknown means. No forced entry to either vehicle. From Vehicle #1, a blue 1992 Ford 150 Econoline van, suspect(s) stole a Briggs & Stratton pressure cleaner. From Vehicle #2, a white 2005 Ford E150, suspect(s) stole an Echo blower, a Pullman backpack vacuum and sunglasses. Loss: $950. No video. Latent fingerprints were recovered.

Sept. 4 A woman reported that someone broke into her car at 2000 NE 39 St. and stole her purse.

DEERFIELD BEACH

August 29 A man was arrested and charged with disabling a gas pump at Texaco and stealing gasoline. Another man, who was his accomplice, remains at large. Report was made at 4517 N. Dixie Hwy.

August 29 A man was arrested and charged with stealing an iPhone and $500 from a woman at 1540 SW 3 Terr.

August 30 A man was attacked by another man at 850 NE 48 St. The attacker demanded money. The man who was attacked ran away and was chased by the attacker.

August 30 A woman who was working as a nanny stole three personal checks from her employer while he was out of town. The woman cashed them into her account for $1,600. The suspect was located in Margate.

August 30 A man reported his laptop, checkbook and jewelry stolen from his residence at 733 SE 9 Terr.

 

DEERFIELD – District 4

August 18 Residential burglary was reported in Country Knolls Mobile Home Park on NW 4 Ave. Victim stated that between August 17 at 1 p.m. and August 18 at 8 a.m. unknown suspect(s) entered mobile home by removing a screen and breaking a window. It is unknown what items are missing at this time, as the victim is out of town.

August 18 Conveyance burglary occurred on West Hillsboro Boulevard. Victim stated that between 12 and 6:40 p.m., unknown suspect(s) smashed the window of 2006 Audi. Once inside, suspect(s) removed a purse containing credit cards, drivers license, a phone and a wallet.

August 20 Conveyance burglary took place in Starlight Cove, NW 6 Street. Victim advised that at 3:30 p.m. they parked gray 2011 Toyota Sienna in the parking lot of the Villages of Hillsboro Park. When victim returned to the vehicle at 5:20 p.m., victim discovered the driver’s side window smashed in and purse taken from under the seat. Nothing else was disturbed. No witnesses. Scene was processed.

August 26 Residential burglary was reported in Deer Creek on Jefferson Drive. Victim arrived home to find his apartment vandalized. Neighbor who lives below heard the sliding glass door open and close while victim was not home. Nothing was missing.

August 29 Bank robbery was reported at the Bank Atlantic at 1299 S. Military Trail. BSO was working the scene. White male suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.

August 24 A woman reported that her car was broken into and a beach bag stolen. Incident was reported at 2091 NE 36 St.

August 25 A police officer noticed that a car had an expired tag. The officer stopped the driver and requested a search. Cocaine was found. The man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at 2400 N. Federal Hwy.

August 26 A woman reported her home broken into at 2134 NE 36 St. The dressers were gone through but nothing was taken.

August 20 A man was arrested and charged with grand theft. He entered Target at 1200 S. Federal Hwy. and stole meat, a suitcase and razors.

August 20 A woman reported that more than $1,000 was taken from her apartment at 702 SE 2 Ave. There was no sign of forced entry. The woman believes her ex-boyfriend took the money because he has a key to the apartment.

August 21 A man reported his residence at 5050 NE 10 Ave. broken into. He reported that a television, $5,000 worth of jewelry, and a gun were stolen.

August 23 A woman reported that her home at 4375 SW 10 Place was broken into and two laptop computers were stolen.

August 23 A man reported that his home at 2762 SW 14 Court was broken into and ransacked.

August 23 It was reported that a residence at 3478 Palladian Circle was broken into. A rear sliding door was smashed. Once inside, the individual stole a laptop, sports memorabilia, cash and jewelry.

August 23 A business at 100 S. Military Trail was burglarized by at least two men. They cut a hole in the roof, entered a safe, and stole $7,000 in currency and checks.

DEERFIELD BEACH – District 4

August 14 Residential burglary was reported in Crystal Heights on SW 12 Street at 2:27 a.m. – a several month time delay as victim is out of state. Unknown person pried open front door. Two flat screen TVs were stolen. Scene was processed. A locksmith secured the residence.

August 15 Auto theft was reported on S. Powerline Rd. at 1:04 p.m. Caller said the company truck, 1999 Ford F450, was last seen on August 8 parked in back of their building. There are no liens on the truck. Keys are located in the office. There were no suspects, witnesses.

August 16 A woman reported that her car parked at 2411 NE 51 St. was entered and money in the car was taken.

August 16 It was reported that a car parked at 5220 NE 26 Ave. was entered and rummaged through.

Burglary Arrests — LHP

August 22 at 1:24 p.m., Lighthouse Point Police Department arrested four males –19-year-old Jerquian Brown, 30-year-old Dominique Brown, 24-year-old Terrall Davis, and 21-year-old Terrence Wilkins — all from Boynton Beach – for armed burglary, after a concerned citizen reported suspicious persons in his ncighbor’s yard. Officers were dispatched after a subject was observed knocking on the front door of a residence and there was no answer. Two subjects were observed entering the backyard of this residence in the 3800 block of NE 22 Way. One subject was immediately taken into custody as he fled on foot from the location and was found to be armed with a .380 caliber handgun stolen during another residential burglary in Boynton Beach. The second subject also fled on foot and was apprehended a few blocks away.This subject was found to be in possession of a backpack containing a large quantity of jewelry and cash. The third and fourth subjects who participated as the driver and lookout fled in a vehicle were taken into custody after they were spotted fleeing the area. The suspects gave statements to investigators, which implicated them in two residential burglaries in Lighthouse Point and three residential burglaries in Deerfield Beach. Deerfield Beach detectives responded and were able to additionally charge the suspects with armed burglary. Citizen participation contributed significantly in the apprehension of these four suspects for armed burglary. “This is a great example of community involvement,’ said Lt. Jack Vaccaro, PIO.

August 18 A woman reported that her car was broken into and a purse was stolen. Report was made at 3857 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

August 18 A woman reported that her home at 4491 Crystal Lake Dr. was broken into. A glass door was smashed. The woman reported that a television was stolen. Also, a safe containing $30,000 in cash and $15,000 in jewelry was stolen.

August 18 It was reported that a man entered Walgreens at 1325 South Military Tr. and stole 11 bottles of alcoholic beverages. Loss was estimated at $320. The man left in a car.

August 18 An unknown suspect broke into a trailer and stole tools and lawn equipment. Incident was reported at 3350 SW 10 St.

August 18 A man reported that his mobile home at 4906 NW 4 Ave. was broken into. The man did not know what items were missing.

August 19 A woman reported that her car parked at 4111 NW 6 St. was broken into and a purse was stolen.

August 19 An unknown suspect entered a car parked at 1305 SW 25 Ave. and stole $10 in quarters, a Bluetooth and prescription sunglasses.

 

DEERFIELD – District 4

August 6 Conveyance burglary was reported in the Hammocks at Riverglen, on NW 42 Way. Victim parked a 1999 Black Mercedes in the driveway at 1:30 a.m. Fiancé began receiving text alerts that there were charges to credit card. Finance went out to the vehicle and discovered wallet and two credit cards missing. Also missing was a Movado Watch Valued at $750. Victims advised that the vehicle was left unlocked.

August 8 Conveyance burglary was reported at 3812 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Victim reported parked Ford F-250 at the location. Victim returned 15 minutes later, found dashboard torn apart. Investigation revealed the subject entered by breaking the rear slider lock. Once inside, the subject removed a GPS, Fish finder, Apple Macbook Pro, and an in dash DVD/navigation system. Total loss: $3,500. Scene was processed.

August 8 Conveyance burglary was reported at 3580 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Victim removed black leather Kenneth Cole purse valued at $50 from the passenger-side front seat of vehicle. Purse contained a Metro PCS cell phone, $10 in cash, and the victim’s FL DL and SS card. Vehicle was processed with one latent fingerprint lifted from the passenger side front door. Vehicle’s doors were left unlocked and victim did not see the subject(s). Video surveillance shows a dark-colored unknown type vehicle pulling up next to the victim’s vehicle at 9:29 a.m. but did not reveal any license plate or visual of suspect(s). The vehicle was observed leaving the parking lot and heading east on Hillsboro Boulevard.

August 8 Residential burglary took place on NW 1st Way, in Highland Meadows Estates Mobile Home Park. Unknown suspect(s) forced open rear bathroom window and removed unknown make/model television. BSO was unable to make contact with victim at this time. Scene was processed.

August 6 A woman reported that her home at 4120 NE 22 Ave. was entered. She reported that a laptop, iPad, diamond ring, Playstation 3 and five men’s watches were stolen, and that a Wii game console was missing.

August 6 A woman was arrested on two active warrants at Publix Supermarket at 2450 N. Federal Hwy.

August 8 A man with a stocking cap over his face robbed the Bank Atlantic at 1299 S. Military Tr. The man jumped over a counter with a large semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The man took a large amount of loose cash and fled. He left with $4,021.

August 8 A person broke into a home at 3790 NE 4 Terr. and stole a laptop, Amazon Kindle and jewelry.

 

DEERFIELD – District 4

August 5 – Residential burglary was reported in Highland Meadows Estates Mobile Home Park on NW 51st Street at 8:49 p.m. Incident was thought to have occurred between July 28 at 7 p.m. and August 5 at 4 p.m. An unknown subject gained entry by removing the window of the carport door and gained entry. The owner of the home is currently out of town and the neighbor who checks on the property noticed the breain. The residence was not ransacked and the only item reported missing was a 46″ Samsung.

July 30 A man reported that someone entered his home at 2000 NE 30 Court and stole two laptop computers. The laptops were valued at $2,200.

DEERFIELD BEACH

August 4 Three bicycles were reported stolen from a garage at 1536 SE 7 Court. Total loss was estimated at $500.

August 5 A woman parked her van behind her business at 1371 S. Military Trail. The van is used for a dog grooming business. The interior was ransacked and three clippers, five scissors and a flat-screen television were stolen.

August 5 Three men were observed by a clerk at Texaco, 4517 N. Dixie Hwy., disabling a meter to steal gasoline. They filled up five vehicles and stole 155 gallons of gasoline. Loss was estimated at $620.

August 5 A woman reported that someone stole her car. Thief was unable to steer the car because of an anti-theft device on the steering wheel and was only able to get across the street. The theft was reported at 103 SE 10 Court.

August 5 A man was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication at 1011 S. Federal Hwy.

August 5 It was reported that the front glass door at the Hess Station at 714 S. Federal Hwy. was shattered. A cash register with $10 in change was stolen.

DEERFIELD – District 4

August 2 Residential burglary took place at Country Knolls Mobile Home Park, NW 48 Court and NW 49 Street, at 5:07 p.m. Complainants reported that between noon on July 25 and noon on August 2, their residences were broken into. Point of entry (POE) at the first location was by broken window in the rear. POE at the second location was undetermined – possibly left unlocked. Taken from both residences were TV and computers. Both scenes were processed and the area was canvassed.

July 28 A manager of the Publix at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. stopped a man who was stealing items. The manager declined prosecution but the man was issued a trespass warning.

July 31 A woman reported that the sliding door leading to the master bedroom was shattered. The bedroom was ransacked and some costume jewelry was stolen. Report was made at 2100 NE 34 Court.

July 31 A woman reported her home at 2862 NE 34 Court was burglarized and a pair of earrings were stolen. Damage to the door was reported.

July 27 A man reported his car parked at 4338 NW 4 Ave. entered and a backpack with a laptop stolen.

July 27 A man reported that someone entered his home at 301 NW 43 Place and stole two flat-screen televisions.

July 27 A man was arrested and charged with felony narcotics at 175 SW 3 St. The man was found to be in possession of marijuana.

July 27 A woman reported her car parked at 200 SE 21 Ave. broken into. She reported her purse with a wallet and cash stolen.

 

DEERFIELD – District 4

July 22 Residential burglary was reported on NW 4 Terr. at 5:27 p.m. Unknown suspects stole victim’s A/C (LG 6000 BTU) off the living room window, valued at $168.54. Victim’s central A/C unit was recently stolen under case DR12-6-4018. No video available. Scene was processed, area canvassed.

July 24 Conveyance burglary occurred on SW 15 Street at about 10:55 a.m. Unknown suspect entered into victim’s unlocked Toyota Tundra. Suspect took wallet containing credit cards, driver’s license, concealed weapons permit, cash and work badge. Suspect also took Sun Pass and iPod.

July 27 Residential burglary was reported on SW 13 Drive at 12:18 a.m. Deputies responded to an audible alarm at this location. Upon arrival, residence was found to be ransacked, entry was made by smashing a rear slider. Electronics and jewelry taken. Time of occurrence is between 7:55 and 9:19 p.m.

July 17 It was reported that a car parked at 4740 NE 22 Ave. was broken into. The driver’s side window was broken and the cost to replace the window was estimated at $100. Nothing was taken from the car.
