Summer Horse Camps

Trotters Mini-Camp – June 15-16, 17-18, 22-23, 24-25 – Two-day sessions. Includes beginning riding instruction, riding time, grooming, and saddling, plus activities/games and horse care/maintenance. $150. Limit: 12 campers/session.

Trailblazers Week Camp – July 6-9, 13-16. 20-23 – Four-day sessions. Includes the above, plus intermediate riding instruction and tack/equipment. $300. Limit: 12 campers/session.

Horsemasters Advanced Camp – Aug. 3-6, 10-13 – Four-day sessions. Includes the above, plus introduction to English riding and advanced riding instruction. $400. Limit: 10 campers/session. Prerequisite: Trailblazers Camp.

The camps, for ages 9 through 16, provide opportunities for kids to get real experience caring for horses on a daily basis. There is also riding instruction (weather permitting) and instruction in other horse-related areas, as well as other activities.

The camps run, rain or shine, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. All campers must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Participants should also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a towel. Students must bring their own snacks and lunches. Space is limited and pre-registration required. For more information, call 954-357-8870.
