DEERFIELD BEACH

Sept. 19 A man left his bicycle outside of Circle K at 4791 N. Dixie Hwy. He went inside the store and upon leaving, found that his bicycle had been stolen.

Sept. 20 It was reported that a dump truck owned by AABCO Roofing was vandalized. The windshield was broken and the fenders and headlights were smashed. Damage was estimated at $2,500. Incident was reported at 271 NW 1 St.

Sept. 20 A bag containing car keys, a cell phone and reading glasses was stolen from the beach at 200 SE 21 Ave. Loss was estimated at $1,000.

Sept. 21 A bicycle was reported stolen from in front of a store at 3701 NW 9 Ave.

Sept. 21 A man was observed stealing packages of meat from Publix at 150 S. Federal Hwy.

Sept. 22 A person was observed stealing $20 worth of conditioner from the Dollar Store at 4811 N. Dixie Hwy.

Sept. 22 A group of people visiting the beach at 234 N. Ocean Dr. reported a backpack stolen. The backpack contained two cell phones, a wallet, credit cards and keys.

Sept. 23 It was reported that a man broke into seven trucks at Closet Factory at 1650 S. Powerline Rd. and stole $18,000 worth of tools and caused $2,000 worth of damage.

Sept. 23 A purse was stolen from a car parked at 100 S. Military Trail.

DEERFIELD — District 4

Sept. 16 Conveyance burglary was reported at The Waterways, 4365 SW 10 Place. Between 09/15/13 at 7 p.m. and 09/16/13 at 8 a.m. Victim reported he left two bottles of medication in his roommate’s vehicle parked in front of the apartment complex. The victim thinks the doors were left unlocked and unknown persons reached in and took his medication. Estimated loss: $20. The vehicle was wet. There was no forced entry.

Sept. 17 Auto theft was reported at Pine Tree apartments, 101 Lock Rd. Unknown persons entered the victim’s unlocked 1996 Honda Accord and tampered with the ignition with negative results. The incident occurred at Apt. 2.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Sept. 18 A man reported that more than $100,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from his home at NE 27 St. The man believes his former housekeeper stole the jewelry.

Sept. 19 A man was issued a trespass warning and asked not to return to CVS Pharmacy at 3580 N. Federal Hwy. The man was panhandling in front of the store.

DEERFIELD BEACH

Sept. 12 A tractor trailer truck was reported stolen from 4250 N. Powerline Rd.

Sept. 13 A woman reported her portable gasoline generator stolen from her garage at 1212 SW 48 Terr.

Sept. 13 A fight broke out between two separate families at 288 SW 5 Court. One victim was hit in the face with a small brick by an unknown suspect.

Sept. 14 A man reported that his home at 33 Deer Creek Rd. was entered and electronic equipment stolen.

Sept. 14 A maintenance building at 401 S. Powerline Rd. was entered and 30 lawn care items were stolen.

Sept. 15 A home at 1313 SE 2 Ave. was broken into. Stolen were: two handguns, four diamond rings valued at a total of $9,000, 15 gold bracelets valued at a total of $1,500 and 30 antique watches valued at a total of $5,000.

Sept. 15 Three men entered a home at 4144 NW 5 Terr. and stole two men’s watches.

DEERFIELD – District 4

Sept. 16 Drugs/narcotics offenses were reported at Quiet Waters, 400 S. Powerline Rd. The officer made a traffic stop for dark window tint. There was the smell of marijuana inside the vehicle. The marijuana was located and field-tested positive. The defendant was released on a notice to appear in court and given a citation.

Sept. 16 Sexual assault by a custodian, sexual battery on a victim11-12 years of age (under 18) took place in Deer Creek Plaza, 3693 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Sept. 16 Possession of Cannabis, not more than 20 grams, was reported at Quiet Waters, 400 S. Powerline Rd.

Sept. 15 A woman reported that a man sold her a car part for $940.

Sept. 16 It was reported that a building at 2502 N. Federal Hwy. was vandalized. The building was spray painted.

Sept. 17 The manager of Publix Supermarket at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. reported that a man tried to return medications. The manager believed the man was attempting to commit a fraud. The man was issued a trespass warning and ordered not to return to the Publix.

Sept. 5 A woman reported that her keys and hand-held computer were stolen after she left them on the beach to go running. Incident was reported at 100 S. Ocean Blvd.

Sept. 5 A man reported that someone stole all factory rims and tires from his car parked on blocks at 627 Anderson Circle.

Sept. 6 A home at 4315 NW 5 Ave. was broken into and a television, power tool and weed wacker were stolen.

Sept. 9. A man reported his car parked at 170 SE 3 St. broken into and prescription medication stolen.

Sept. 10 A pickup truck parked at 3701 W. Hillsboro Blvd. was broken into and a camera stolen.

Sept. 10 The manager of a Winn Dixie at 1019 S. Federal Hwy. reported that five women entered the store and stole $857.41 worth of seafood and steak.

DEERFIELD – District 4

Sept. 13 Commercial burglary took place at Rent-ACenter, 1835 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The subject signed a rentto- own agreement on 07/06/ 13 to purchase a laptop and led TV. The subject has not paid for the items. The subject has been evading attempts from the victim to return items or make payment. The victim has proper documentation for the State Attorney to file theft charges. Total loss is $2,097.98.

Sept. 13 Residential burglary was reported in The Waterways,1212 SW 48 Terr.The victim left home on Sunday 09/08/13 and returned on Friday 09/13/13 to find her Red Honda 7500 watt portable gasoline generator stolen from her garage. No suspects. No video surveillance available.

Sept. 6 It was reported that a woman caring for a 92-yearold woman fraudulently used the woman’s credit card to make purchases. Incident was reported at 2730 NE 46 St.

Sept. 6 A man reported his home at 2920 NE 53 Court burglarized and a television valued at $800 stolen.

Sept. 8. A man reported that he was assaulted by a coworker at Sicilian Oven Pizzeria, 2486 N. Federal Hwy.

August 31 A man reported his home at 464 NW 3 Ave. entered and air handler coils and a tool box stolen. Total loss was estimated at $2,650.

August 31 A man reported his home at 736 NW 2 Way entered while he was sleeping and two cell phones stolen.

Sept. 1 A woman reported her home at 179 SW 3 St. entered and her HP ProBook laptop valued at about $1,000 stolen.

DEERFIELD – District 4

August 30 A resident had a FL tag with a valid decal stolen from her vehicle at her residence in Deer Run, 3400 SW 3rd Ct.

Sept. 1 It was reported at 491 Jefferson Dr. in Deer Creek, that between 08/31/13 at 7:30 p.m. and 09/01/13 at 12:15 p.m., unknown persons, gained entry into the victim’s 2000 Ford work truck by prying the driver’s door lock. Once inside the vehicle, the suspect(s) took two concrete cutting saws valued at $1,800. The saws were located in theback seat of the vehicle. It was raining and the vehicle could not be processed.

Sept. 2 Commercial burglary took place at Target 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Target Loss Prevention reported a theft by a juvenile that had occurred between 8 and 8:30 a.m. Photos and video were obtained and placed into evidence. Subject used a cutting tool to steal two cell phones from the locked shelf.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

August 29 Police broke up a fight between two men in the parking lot of Venetian Isles Plaza at 3700 N. Federal Hwy.

August 27 It was reported that 16 plants/bushes were stolen from a property at 581 E. Sample Rd.

August 27 A commercial trailer was reported stolen from Republic National Distributing Company at 441 NW 12 Ave.

August 27 Two people tried to steal a car from 2655 Deer Creek Emerald Way. In the process, the car was crashed into a tree.

DEERFIELD – District 4

August 6 Arrests were made at TD Bank,3325 W. Hillsboro Blvd.Suspects entered TD Bank to open a bank account using fraudulent Social Security numbers. Suspect 2 forged a starter check for the initial deposit. Investigation revealed the suspects had been to Regions Bank earlier that day, doing the same thing. Post Miranda warning, suspects originally provided several conflicting statements but then admitted that they open accounts, get starter checks, then make withdrawals from other banks before there is money in the account. Suspect 1 was charged with Organized Scheme to Defraud, Uttering Forged Document, Suspect 2 was charged with Organized Scheme to Defraud, Forgery and VOP-CC Fraud, Suspect 3 was charged with Organized Scheme to Defraud and VOP-Robbery.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

August 15 It was reported that a man displayed a gun and knife at Audi of Lighthouse Point at 4250 N. Federal Hwy.

August 15 A man was arrested on an active felony warrant for possession of cocaine in Texas — at 2700 NE 36 St.

August 22 A woman reported jewelry stolen from her home at 37 NE 5 St. The woman believes her son stole the jewelry valued at $4,000.

August 23 A woman reported that her husband hit her in the face. She does not want to prosecute.

August 23 A car parked at 4412 NW 4 Ave. was broken into and a purse stolen.

August 23 It was reported that a city owned water meter and back flow valve were stolen from 1471 SW 9 Ave.

August 23 A man was issued a “Notice to Appear” in court after being detained for stealing face cream from Publix at 3740 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

DEERFIELD – DISTRICT 4

August 6 Residential burglaries at Deer Run, 3321 SW 4 St. sometime between August 5 and August 6. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victims unlocked car and stole golf clubs and a blue bag.

August 3 Victim reported that his motorcycle was stolen in front of the apartment building at the Waterways, 4375 SW 10 Pl. between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. that day. He was unable to advise what tag was attached. The VIN was entered into teletype as stolen.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

August 15 A man was issued a trespass warning after being detained for stealing ice cream and popcorn from Publix at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. Police ran a check on his record. The man was arrested for driving without a license.

August 16 A man reported that his car was vandalized in the parking lot of Publix at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. The car was damaged with a key and sustained about $400 in damages.

August 19 A woman reported that her mailbox at 4129 NE 21 Terr. was damaged. The woman believes her boyfriend is responsible.

August 16 A man was arrested and charged with a narcotics felony at 200 W. Hillsboro Blvd. He was stopped for running a red light and found in possession of narcotics.

August 16 A motorcycle was reported stolen from 641 S. AIA.

August 17 A man reported his home at 190 NE 39 Court broken into. The items taken from his home were found in the backyard.

August 17 A man was arrested and charged with a narcotics felony. He was stopped for not having a bicycle light and found to be in possession of four pieces of crack cocaine. Incident was reported at 1200 S. Federal Hwy.

August 17 A woman reported that two men approached her and tried to steal her necklace. She fought them off, but one man was able to get away with a crucifix valued at approximately $200. Incident was reported at 4847 N. Dixie Hwy.

August 17 A woman reported her car parked at 219 SW 1 Terr. broken into and a purse with a checkbook, personal ID and $70 stolen.

August 17 A vehicle was reported stolen from 1428 SE 4 Ave.

August 18 One woman reported her car stolen and another woman reported her car broken into through the rear passenger window at 230 NW 5 St.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

August 13 A man reported his wallet stolen while he was at a party in Boca Raton. The man found that charges were made to his bank account. Incident was reported at 3000 NE 34 St.

August 15 It was reported that a home at 2911 NE 39 Court was broken into. The bedrooms were rummaged through and two laptop computers were stolen.

August 15 An attempted home burglary was reported at 3931 NE 31 Ave.

August 15 A home burglary was reported at 2830 NE 47 St. The home was rummaged through and a watch was stolen.

August 6 A vehicle parked at 3321 SW 4 St. was entered and golf clubs and a blue bag were stolen.

August 6 A man was arrested and charged with a narcotics felony at 92 NE 42 Court. During a drug investigation, the man tried to deliver cocaine to an undercover officer.

August 6 A woman reported that a man snatched her purse at 5 N. Federal Hwy. The purse was later found, but an iPhone, wallet, driver’s license and $300 in cash were stolen.

August 6 A group of people went to the beach at 200 NE 21 Ave. They placed their belongings in a bag. A man was seen taking items from the bag. It was reported that five iPhones and chargers were stolen.

August 6 A man reported being struck by a man he knows at 217 Ocean Dr. The man was knocked out and taken to Broward Health North.

August 7 A man was arrested on an active warrant for possession of cocaine at 700 S. Dixie Hwy.

August 7 A man was arrested and charged with burglary of a home at 373 NW 3 Court, after entering a woman’s home and beating her.

DEERFIELD – District 4

August 2 Arrest was made at Publix, 3740 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Subject stole approximately $16 worth of merchandise from Publix. He put the items in his pants and passed all points of sale without paying. The Loss Prevention officer stopped him outside the store.

August 2 Arrest was made at TD Bank, 3325 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Subject entered the TD Bank in Coral Springs and attempted to open a bank account under the victim’s name and using a counterfeit ID. The subject fled after bank personnel found out she was using a fake ID. The subject then went to the TD Bank in Deerfield Beach and attempted to open another bank account with another victim’s information and using another fake ID.

The subject was apprehended and taken into custody. A search revealed a fake ID with victim’s information and suspect’s picture, papers with other victim’s personal information, as well as a fraudulent check for $432. The deputy also discovered Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) and a needle during the search. Subject admitted being addicted to Dilaudid and that she commits check/bank fraud, as well as ID theft. The subject was charged with Grand Theft (attempt), Check Fraud, ID Theft/Fraud, Possession of Counterfeit ID, Possession of Hydromorphone and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

August 4 A vehicle parked at 2611 NE 51 Court was burglarized and sunglasses and a radio faceplate were stolen.

August 5 A woman reported her apartment at 3602 NE 21 Ave. burglarized and a television and two watches stolen. Estimated loss was $10,850.

August 3 A man reported his motorcycle stolen from outside his apartment building at 4375 SW 10 Place.

August 3 A woman at 311 NW 42 Court reported that a man snatched her gold chain, valued at $500, from her neck.

August 3 A man reported that a woman who lives near him broke into his home at 5249 NW 4 Terr. and stole two checks. The women forged one check for $200. The woman was arrested and charged with burglary.

August 3 A man reported his car stolen from 3830 NE 4 Terr.

August 4 A man reported that someone opened the cover of his boat parked at 149 SE 18 Ave. and stole an AM/FM radio/CD player valued at $200 and a ship-toshore radio valued at $450.

DEERFIELD — District 4

July 28 Commercial burglary took place at Target, 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Unknown subject pushed out a Dyson vacuum (value $649.99) w/o paying. Video surveillance images were captured of the incident/suspect. Suspect was seen getting into a black 2-door Monte Carlo. Suspect matched description/ images reported.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

July 28 Police responded to an argument between a man and woman in a dating relationship. They were involved in a loud argument but no physical violence occurred between the two. Incident was reported at 2141 NE 42 St.

July 28 A woman reported being shoved by her boyfriend at 3311 NE 23 Ave. The man threw the woman’s cell phone at her and the cell phone was broken.

July 31 It was reported that the glass door of Golden China was smashed with a cement block. A computer/ cash register, $150 in cash and a business license were stolen. Incident was reported at 2426 N. Federal Hwy.

DEERFIELD BEACH

July 27 A man reported that his bag was stolen while he was on the beach at 100 NE 21 Ave. The bag contained an iPhone5 valued at $300.

July 28 A man reported that while he was in jail, he stored his truck containing tools with a friend. After the man was released, he found out his tools were missing and that his friend had them. After being confronted on the matter, the friend returned the tools. Incident was reported at 300 SE 12 Ave.

July 28 A woman was arrested and charged with a narcotics violation at 179 SW 3 St. The woman was in possession of five crack cocaine rocks.

July 28 Someone broke into Family Dollar at 5233 N. Dixie Hwy. and stole $60 from the register, $200 in coins and $210 from a locked box.

July 28 A woman reported her vehicle stolen from 4334 NW 5 Ave. A witness reported that she saw a man steal the car.

July 28 A woman reported that two men broke into her car parked at 2001 W. Sample Rd. and stole a purse.

DEERFIELD – District 4

July 21 Residential burglary was reported at Pine Tree Apartments,418 Lock Rd. Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence via an unlocked sliding glass door (no signs of forced entry). Suspect(s) removed a 32-in. flat screen television and key ring (w/3x keys) and then removed the victim’s vehicle from the parking lot. Vehicle was recovered in the 1006 zone at 286 SW 1 Terr.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

July 24 A man reported that his leaf blower valued at $199 was stolen from a shed at the rear of his home at 4000 NE 22 Ave. He believes his step daughter may have stolen it.

July 24 A man reported his rental vehicle broken into in the parking lot of Packy’s Sports Pub at 4480 N. Federal Hwy. His brief case, digital camera, laptop and a checkbook were stolen.
