4: A man and a woman reported their vehicle was stolen while the
man was doing yard work. The incident was reported at 361 SW 15 St.
Dec.
4: A man was arrested for stealing $344 worth of merchandise from
Walgreens at 1041 E. Hillsboro Blvd.
Dec.
5: A man reported that someone entered his vehicle parked at 120
SE 7 St. and stole a backpack with several items.

5: A woman working at Deerfield Beach Storage at 950 S. Powerline
Rd. reported that someone drove a truck over a chain link fence
causing about $1,000 in damage.

6: A woman reported that a neighbor cut down about $3,000 worth
of bamboo plants on her property at 812 SE 9 Ave.

9: A credit card was found near the tot lot at 3500 NE 27 Ave.

7: Police responded to an alarm call at 2730 NE 40 St. The
perimeter was found secure.

7: A resident found a machete on the grass across the street at
2622 NE 26 St. It was brought to the police department and placed
into evidence for disposal.

Sept.
24: A woman reported that someone entered her work vehicle
parked at 5341 NE 8 Terr. and stole a work bag containing a wallet,
$20 in cash, credit cards and a driver’s license.
Sept.
24: Unknown suspects stole two vehicles from a parking lot at 410
Deer Creek Jefferson Dr. The vehicles were later recovered at nearby
parking lots.

24: A man was seen stealing $218 worth of miscellaneous tools
from Home Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave. The man was stopped and issued a
notice to appear in court.

24: A man reported grand theft and fraud. He paid $6,554 for a
steel building and an additional $1,200 for plans. The building was
never delivered and the man was unable to get information about the
status of the building. He is not sure where the business he was
dealing with is at the present time. The incident was reported at 450
Fairway Dr.
Sept.
24: A man said someone stole two minibikes valued at $1,400 from
in front of a garage at 470 NW 39 St.

25: A man was seen stealing headphones valued at $150 from Target
at 1200 S. Federal Hwy.

25: A backpack was found at 2888 NE 24 St. The property was
recovered and placed into property.

23: A broken cell phone was found at 4541 NE 22 Ave. The
property was recovered and placed into property.
Sept.
23: Police responded to an alarm at 2241 NE 25 St. There was
no alarm sounding, and the property was checked and it was found
secure. A neighbor tried calling the homeowner to no avail.

27: A man reported that a former employee of his used stolen
business checks and credit cards to steal thousands of dollars from
him. The incident was reported at 4100 N. Powerline Rd.

27: A man reported that someone entered his vehicle parked at 601
E. Sample Rd. and stole his wallet.

45 St. and stole her television and a handbag.

It was deemed a false alarm.

15: Police responded to a call of a loose German Shepherd and
small brown dog in the area of 2631 NE 52St. The police
officer said he searched the area vigorously and was unable to locate
them and suspected they had maybe returned to their home.

16: Police responded to an alarm call at 2200 NE 32 St. It was
deemed that the owner accidently set off the alarm.

July 9: The manager of Hobby Lobby at 4555 W. Hillsboro Blvd. was notified by Hobby Lobby loss prevention headquarters that they had discovered via video that someone stole $420 worth of crystals.
July 10: A man reported that his vehicle was broken into and $60 in cash, as well as credit cards and a pair of sunglasses, were stolen. The incident was reported at 201 E. Sample Rd.
July 10: A man reported that while he was unloading his vehicle at 312 Ocean Dr., the North Beach Pavilion, someone stole his bag containing a camera valued at $2,600, a lens valued at $800 and another lens valued at $100.
July 10: A man and a woman were observed stealing two printers from Target at 1200 S. Federal Hwy.
July 10: While a woman was pumping gas at a Chevron station at 1201 S. Military Tr., someone entered the vehicle and stole her purse, which contained $150.

July 2: A man, who lives in the 2300 block of NE 28 Ct., went to the police department to report that his American Express card had been used for three online purchases totaling $410.74 that he did not authorize. The victim told police that he gave his son the Amex card the day before to use for two purchases, but it was returned.
July 3: Police responded to a report of a pit bull walking on the street at 2830 NE 21Terr. The dog found its way home.
July 3: Police responded to an alarm call at 2824 NE 28 Ct. When police arrived, the subject inside said she was a friend of the family and was dog sitting for them and no pass code was given. It was deemed a false alarm.

burglarized. The suspect stole about $100 in coins and fled through
the front door.

30: A woman reported that someone entered her car parked at 107
SE 10Ct. and stole loose change for a total loss of $30.

31: It was reported that a woman tried to steal items from Target
at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. She fled when approached by loss
prevention officers.

31: A woman reported that someone entered her apartment at 303
Oakridge Q and stole about $50 in coins.
June
2: It was reported that multiple vehicles were burglarized at a
pavilion used for a 5K race at 401 S. Powerline Rd. Various items
including cash, a ring, credit cards and purses were stolen from the
cars.

2: A woman reported her car parked at 812 NW 47 St. was broken
into and a phone charger was stolen.

28: Police responded to a call at 3580 N. Federal Hwy. of a dog
barking inside of a car with the windows rolled up. The car was
running and the A/C was on. The owner responded and showed officers a
temperature system that would alert him if the temperature got too
high.

28: The resident was worried that a dog continued to jump a small
fence at 2601 NE 48 Ct. Police responded and were able to block the
gate to prevent further occurrences.
May
30: Police responded to a call of property that was found at the
post office at 2091 NE 36St. The owner of the property
was contacted and said that the card that was found could be
destroyed.

21: A man reported his car burglarized and headphones, a wallet
and a PayPal card were stolen. The incident was reported at 116 SW 9
St.

21: A home at 204 SW 3 Ct. was burglarized and four shirts and
four pants were stolen.

21: A man entered a BrandsMart USA at 821 SW Natura Blvd. and
stole a Robo vacuum valued at $855.
May
22. A jet ski was stolen from 164 SE 18 Ave. It was later found
by police in Miami Shores and three suspects were arrested in
connection with the theft.

22. A man entered a CVS at 2 S. Federal Hwy. and stole $180 worth
of merchandise and fled.

24: A resident who lives on the 2400 block of NE 21Ave.
contacted police because he thought he was the victim of a vehicle
burglary because he was unable to locate his wallet. After further
investigation, it was determined his wallet was missing since there
were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle and other items were
still in place.

25: Police responded to a call of two Rottweilers in a park at
5200 NE 31Ave. When they arrived, the dogs were gone.
May
26: Police responded to a burglar alarm at 4121 NE 23Terr.
When they arrived, they walked the perimeter and found the home
secure.

and an air compressor for a total loss of $14,200. The incident was
reported at the Crystal Lake Commerce Center at 4250 N. Powerline Rd.

26: A man was arrested and charged with retail theft at Home
Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave. He stole $472 worth of merchandise.

26: Two men were arrested and charged with stealing a drill and a
hedge trimmer from Home Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave.

26: A woman reported that her sheets were stolen from a washing
machine at 1181 SE 6 Ave.

27: A man was arrested and charged with burglary and battery at
400 SW 2 St. He battered four victims, and, in addition, he stole two
porcelain items.

male at her church and said because of his erratic behavior she
wanted him to leave.

incident was reported at 575 Deer Creek Jefferson Dr.

19: A man reported that his vehicle, an Elantra, was stolen by a
man in front of Ali Market at 5361 N. Dixie Hwy. The car had been
left running while the man who owns it went into the store.

19: The Store Manager of Urbieta Oil reported that an employee
using a register scanner loaded $650 on to four prepaid cards. The
incident was reported at 1900 N. Powerline Rd.

19: A woman reported her bicycle stolen from her home at 123 NE 9
Ave.

20: It was reported that the wheels and tires of a vehicle parked
at 959 SE 2 Ave. were stolen. The loss was estimated at $2,000.

13: Police responded to an alarm at 3170 N. Federal Hwy. There
was no answer. Everything was secure.

16: Police received a hit on a tag attached to a white Lincoln at
2200 NE 45 St. A canvas of the area revealed nothing. It was a
possible misread.

16: A white iPhone was found at a business at 3500 NE 27 Ave. The
owner called the phone and was told to retrieve the property at the
police department.

They broke the glass on the front door. The men stole a safe with
nothing of value inside.

12: A man was observed stealing three Dewalt impact kits valued
at $399 each from Home Depot.

12: A man reported that someone opened his credit card and placed
$8,285 in chargers on it at 4100 Crystal Lake Dr.

13: A woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Target
at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. She stole $147.87 worth of merchandise.

7: Police responded to a call of a possible social media scam at
3910 NE 30 Ave. Police said there was no loss of money or property
and there was no victim information taken.

9: The victim told police that a backpack and car keys were lost
while at the business at 3550 NE 27 Ave. The property was later found
and returned to the victim.

12: Police responded to an audible hold-up alarm at a residence
in the 3800 block of NE 26 Ave. The homeowner was inside upstairs and
had advised that she heard a noise in the kitchen while she was
upstairs. Police responded and everything was secure.
