Dec. 10: A woman reported that a man threw a piece of cinderblock at a mobile home window. The woman said the man returned later and threw a rock at her window. The incident was reported at 326 NE 45 St.

Dec. 11: The owner of World Tool and Supply reported that a customer who purchased tools used a fraudulent check to make the purchase. The business owner reported that a fraudulent check for $91,960 was placed in the business account.

Dec. 11: A man reported that someone broke into his car parked at 2301 W. Sample Rd. and stole a wallet with various credit cards.

Dec. 11: A man reported that someone stole his Chrysler convertible. The incident was reported at 3774 NE 3 Ave.

Dec. 11: It was reported that a man stole 24 beers from Marathon Gas Station at 4517 N. Dixie Hwy.

Dec. 11: A man was arrested and charged with stealing a six pack of beer and food from Publix at 150 S. Federal Hwy.

Dec. 10: Police responded to a silent alarm call at a bank at 2850 N. Federal Hwy. When police arrived, everything was secure.

Dec. 10: Police responded to an alarm call at 2420 NE 32 Ct. When police arrived, everything was secure as the homeowner’s father was house sitting.

Dec. 13: Police responded to a burglary alarm call at a bank at 2850 N. Federal Hwy. When police arrived, everything was secure. Apparently workers who were laying carpet, tripped the alarm.

Dec. 4: A man and a woman reported their vehicle was stolen while the man was doing yard work. The incident was reported at 361 SW 15 St.

Dec. 4: A man was arrested for stealing $344 worth of merchandise from Walgreens at 1041 E. Hillsboro Blvd.

Dec. 5: A man reported that someone entered his vehicle parked at 120 SE 7 St. and stole a backpack with several items.

Dec. 5: A woman working at Deerfield Beach Storage at 950 S. Powerline Rd. reported that someone drove a truck over a chain link fence causing about $1,000 in damage.

Dec. 6: A woman reported that a neighbor cut down about $3,000 worth of bamboo plants on her property at 812 SE 9 Ave.

Lighthouse Point

Dec. 9: A credit card was found near the tot lot at 3500 NE 27 Ave.

Dec. 7: Police responded to an alarm call at 2730 NE 40 St. The perimeter was found secure.

Dec. 7: A resident found a machete on the grass across the street at 2622 NE 26 St. It was brought to the police department and placed into evidence for disposal.

Nov. 30: It was reported that the lock to the pool area at Quiet Waters Park was cut and a $300 pool pump was stolen. The incident was reported at 401 S. Powerline Rd.

Nov. 30: It was reported that a Toyota Corolla parked at 840 Cypress Park Rd. was broken into. A window was smashed but nothing was taken.

Nov. 30: A woman reported that her car parked at 671 Cypress Lake Rd. was broken into and her wallet stolen.

Nov. 30: It was reported that eight vehicles in Waterford Estates were broken into. Some vehicles were unlocked and entered, and others had their windows smashed. Two iPhones and a backpack were stolen. The incident was reported at 671 Cypress Lake Blvd.

Dec. 1: A woman reported that someone entered her apartment at 770 SE 2 Terr. and stole $5,000 worth of collectable coins, two silver diamond earrings valued at $3,000, two silver diamond cross pendants valued at $500 and $300 in cash.

Dec. 5: A woman brought a small black and white dog that was found while she was running in the 2300 block of NE 49 Street to an animal hospital. She said she did not recognize the dog or see anyone attempting to catch the animal. The animal hospital made contact with the owner who said they would retrieve the dog. The owner said he let the dog out in his backyard and did not realize it had gotten out.

Dec. 3: A resident went to the police department to report she mistakenly left her purse at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club at 2701 NE 42 St. a couple of days earlier. She called the club and was told that the purse was not found. It contained a cell phone, driver’s license and three credit cards. The resident canceled all of her cards and was notified at the time that no fraudulent purchases had been made. A few days later, she contacted police and said her purse was located.

Dec. 3: Police responded to an alarm call at 2357 NE 28 Ct. The perimeter was checked and it was found secure.

Nov. 26: It was reported that someone broke into four vehicles over night, parked at 1100 SE 4 Ave.

Nov. 26: It was reported that someone smashed out the front glass door of Allure Hair Candy Shop to gain entry to the business. Several items were stolen. The incident was reported at 103 SE 10 St.

Nov. 26: A man reported that someone stole $3,000 from his checking account over the past two months. The incident was reported at 4001 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Nov. 27: A woman reported that someone entered her home at 1751 NW 48 Ct. and removed a purse. The person ransacked the purse and stole a wallet.

Nov. 27: A man went through the self-checkout at Home Depot with a $1,150 Makita saw. He paid for a $5 item and then left the store without paying for the saw. The incident was reported at 60 SW 12Ave.

Nov. 27: A man reported that while he was inside Walgreens at 120 S. Powerline Rd., a man stole his car and drove away.  The incident was reported at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Lighthouse Point

Nov. 18: The victim said someone stole scrap copper and aluminum from a construction site at 2324 NE 29 St. The scrap was piled towards the rear of the vacant property to be sold to a scrap company. The loss was $700.

Nov. 18: The store manager pointed out a subject who was believed to have eaten and consumed beverages at the store located at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. When confronted, the subject told police, “all things are free.” It was unknown what he may have consumed and was trespassed from the store.

Nov. 19: Police responded to an alarm call at 2510 NE 35St. The alarm was canceled prior to police arrival. It was determined that a bug sprayer set off the alarm.

Nov. 19: A man was observed coming up to the door of a home at 720 NE 43 Ct. and stealing several power tools.

Nov. 20: Two men were observed stealing packages of beer for a total loss of $76 from a 7-11 at 900 SW 10 St.

Nov. 20: A man reported that two GPS devices valued at $10,000 each were stolen from a boat parked at 14 Terr.

Nov. 20: It was reported that a refrigerator valued at $2,000 was stolen from a building under construction by Lennar Homes at 1111 Veleiros Blvd.

Nov. 20: The regional manager for the European Wax Center said that beginning on Oct. 8, an employee stole $3,869 worth of goods and services and diverted the funds for personal use. The incident was reported at 282 S. Federal Hwy.

Nov. 14: The victim met with police at 2700 NE 36 St. where she said she was unsure where she lost her driver’s license. It was later found by a public works employee at Frank McDonough Park.

Nov. 16: Police responded to an audible alarm at 3150 N. Federal Hwy. A search of the building found an open door to the front of the business. There were no signs of criminal activity.

Nov. 18: The victim met with police at 2849 NE 26 Ave. regarding a fraudulent transaction on his credit card in the amount of $7,000. He disputed the charge in September and it was removed in October only for the amount to be re-charged in November. He was told he needed to file a police report.

Nov. 9: A woman reported her wallet stolen from her desk at work at 10 Fairway Dr.

Nov. 9: A man reported that a man he knew stole his cell phone valued at $800 from 1377 S. Dixie Hwy.

Nov. 10: A man was arrested and charged with battery on his girlfriend at 125 SE 15St.

Nov. 11: A woman reported that her Nissan Maxima was stolen from 1901 Discovery Cir.

Nov. 11: A man was stopped for drinking alcohol in public at 249 NE 21 Ave. He was issued a Notice to Appear and released.

Lighthouse Point

Nov. 2: Police responded to an alarm call at 4101 NE 27 Terr. Police checked the doors, windows and everything was found secure.

Nov. 3: The victim said he was taking a transit bus at 3600 N. Federal Hwy. and went to pay for a fare for his fiancée. When he returned to his seat, he noticed that someone had stolen his backpack containing a wallet, ID card and social security card. The total loss was $50.

Nov. 4: Police responded to an alarm call at 3010 NE 44 St. The point of entry was the office door. When police arrived, the exterior was inspected and all was found secure.

Nov. 5: It was reported that four men stole a Ford F-150 vehicle from 1630 NW 49 St. The loss was estimated at $50,000.

Nov. 5: It was reported that a man who worked for Zager Global, Inc. stole copper valued at about $300 and a cord cutter valued at about $400. The incident was reported at 149 SE 4 St.

Nov. 6: A man reported his bicycle stolen from 1300 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Nov. 6: A man reported that his home at 327 NE 45 Pl. was entered while he and his family slept. An iPad and cell phone were stolen.

Nov. 6: A man reported that 73,000 gallons worth of water was stolen from his home at 1214 SE 12 Terr. for a loss of about $328.

Lighthouse Point

Oct. 24: Police responded to an alarm call at 2821 NE 47 St. It was determined that it was an accidental trip by the homeowner to let a painter in.

Nov. 1: A resident found $250 in cash in a store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. It was placed into property.

Nov. 1: Police responded to an interior alarm call at 4420 NE 24 Terr. The property was found to be secure.

Oct. 22: A woman reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle parked at 1260 SW 11Ave.

Oct. 25: A man reported that his motorcycle was stolen from an apartment complex parking lot at 545 Trace Cir.

Oct. 25: It was reported that a female employee of IHOP stole $232 in cash. The incident was reported at 516 S. Federal Hwy.

Oct. 25: It was reported a Dodge Caravan was stolen from 900 NW 45 St.

Oct. 26: It was reported that a Chevrolet Malibu was stolen from an apartment complex at 766 Rich Dr.

Oct. 15: Police responded to a call of an alarm sounding for three minutes at 2700 NE 46 St. It was determined that it was an accidental trip by the housekeeper.

Oct. 18: A black purse was discovered near a dumpster at 2002 NE 36 St. It was brought to the lobby of the police department and placed into inventory.

Oct. 18: A large dead alligator carcass was found floating west in the waterway from 2540 NE 48Ct. It was pushed to the middle of the canal so that it would float out with the tide.

Oct. 8: A man reported that the tires and rims from his vehicle were stolen. The vehicle was parked at 865 Rich Dr.

Oct. 8: A man reported that someone entered his vehicle parked at 415 NW 1 Terr. and stole a security vest and a bulletproof vest with a knife, pepper spray and cell phone.

Oct. 8: A man reported that someone stole an A/C unit from his home at 224 SW 8 Ct. The home is under renovation.

Oct. 8: A man said that someone entered his vehicle parked at 274 SW 1 St. and stole his wallet.

Oct. 9: A man said that someone entered his vehicle parked at 342 SW 10 Ct. and stole a book bag containing two handguns.

Lighthouse Point

Oct. 11: Police made contact with a man inside a residence at 2331 NE 33 St. with the front door open and an alarm sounding. The male subject said he was the brother of a resident who was out on a vessel. Police cleared the scene.

Oct. 13: A neighbor called the police when an alarm went off at a residence at 2716 NE 29St. Police said a proper code was given and the alarm was set off accidentally.

Oct. 14: A bicycle was found at 3500 NE 27 Ave.

Sept. 24: A woman reported that someone entered her work vehicle parked at 5341 NE 8 Terr. and stole a work bag containing a wallet, $20 in cash, credit cards and a driver’s license.

Sept. 24: Unknown suspects stole two vehicles from a parking lot at 410 Deer Creek Jefferson Dr. The vehicles were later recovered at nearby parking lots.

Sept. 24: A man was seen stealing $218 worth of miscellaneous tools from Home Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave. The man was stopped and issued a notice to appear in court.

Sept. 24: A man reported grand theft and fraud. He paid $6,554 for a steel building and an additional $1,200 for plans. The building was never delivered and the man was unable to get information about the status of the building. He is not sure where the business he was dealing with is at the present time. The incident was reported at 450 Fairway Dr.

Sept. 24: A man said someone stole two minibikes valued at $1,400 from in front of a garage at 470 NW 39 St.

Sept. 25: A man was seen stealing headphones valued at $150 from Target at 1200 S. Federal Hwy.

Lighthouse Point

Sept. 25: A backpack was found at 2888 NE 24 St. The property was recovered and placed into property.

Sept. 23: A broken cell phone was found at 4541 NE 22 Ave. The property was recovered and placed into property.

Sept. 23: Police responded to an alarm at 2241 NE 25 St. There was no alarm sounding, and the property was checked and it was found secure. A neighbor tried calling the homeowner to no avail.
