July 21: It was reported that someone entered a business through a bathroom ceiling and stole three keys to vehicles. The incident was reported at 3991 N. Dixie Hwy.

July 23: A woman reported that people broke into her home at 320 N. Deerfield Ave. She ran to a neighbor’s house and reported what was happening. The neighbor, a witness to the incident, saw three people leave the home.

July 23: A woman reported that someone stole her credit card at 778 SW 2 Ave.

July 23: A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her several times at 1277 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

July 27: A man reported that four people attacked him at 3770 NE 3 Ave.

July 28: A woman reported her vehicle, a Fiat 500L, was stolen at 1272 S. Military Tr.

Lighthouse Point

July 15: Police responded to a call of a male subject outside a business panhandling, and, when police arrived, the subject was inside the store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. Police had him sign a trespassing waiver and he left the store with the understanding he was no longer allowed back.

July 14: Multiple subjects entered the store at 3580 N. Federal Hwy. and stole cosmetics and fled in a vehicle. It is unknown what was taken.

July 19: The property manager at 2400 N. Federal Hwy. found a barrier wall to have wax on it. The victim believed the wax was used for skateboarding and would cost between $500 and $700 to repair.

July 17: A man was arrested and charged with domestic violence at 1428 SE 4 Ave. A woman reported that her boyfriend, the man who was arrested, slapped her and choked her and later punched her in the throat.

July 17: A man said that he met a man to discuss selling him a sound system. The man who said he might be interested in the system then pulled a gun and demanded money from the other man. He then fled. The incident was reported at 623 Anderson Cir.

July 17: A man reported that someone tried to steal his motorcycle at 322 N. Federal Hwy. He said the ignition wires had been cut.

July 18: A man reported that someone smashed the back window of his vehicle causing $500 in damage. The incident was reported at 101 Lock Rd.

July 18: The manager of Daily’s at 5 N. Federal Hwy. reported that a person has been stealing a carton of cigarettes every time he has visited the store for the past two weeks.

July 19: A man reported that his friend’s vehicle was stolen while he was inside Publix at 150 S. Federal Hwy.

Lighthouse Point

July 13: Police responded to a call regarding a license plate being stolen at 3600 N. Federal Hwy. They approached the passenger of a vehicle who told them the driver was inside the store. He was located and told police that he was working on the vehicle and had no knowledge of the plate being stolen. The vehicle’s registration also came back as expired. The two men were released; however, the license plate was taken and the vehicle was towed.

July 12: A driver’s license was found at 1961 NE 29 St. and turned over to police.

July 12: Police responded to a call at 3900 N. Federal Hwy. of a male subject outside a business refusing to leave. When police arrived, the subject was on the sidewalk and was told to leave by police.

July 10: A man was arrested and charged with domestic battery against a woman at 1021 NW 45 St.

July 10: It was reported that a man pumped gas at a Mobil Station at 900 SW 10 St. and left without paying for the gas.

July 11: A woman reported her vehicle stolen at 770 SE 2 Ave.

July 13: A man reported his motorcycle stolen at 450 Deer Creek Jefferson Dr.

July 13: A woman reported her vehicle stolen from in front of an apartment at 1023 Oakridge D E.

July 13: It was reported that a purse containing $4,000 and bank cards was stolen from a vehicle parked at Pioneer Park at 501 NE Eller St.

July 4: A resident found a dog at 1800 W. Sample Rd. and brought it to the Police Department. A microchip hit came back to an apartment complex in Miami, but police were unable to locate the owner. Animal Control was contacted.

July 6: Police were called out to a report of a handgun being seen on a sidewalk in front of apartments at 2400 NE 36 St. A Marksman Repeater BB gun was recovered and placed into property at the department for destruction.

July 3: A police officer found a dog at 3600 NE 31 Ave. The owner was found and the dog was turned over to him.

July 3: A man reported that someone broke into his car parked at 514 NW 44 Terr. and stole his credit cards and driver’s license.

July 3: A man reported his car parked at 3801 Crystal Lake Dr. broken into and jewelry, a watch, a diamond ring and sunglasses stolen.

July 3: A man was arrested and charged with stealing a Fitbit watch valued at $230 from Target at 1200 S. Federal Hwy.

July 3: It was reported that a water meter valued at $1,000 was stolen from a construction site at 100 SW 1 St.

July 3: A woman reported her phone stolen from 3740 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

July 3: A woman reported a purse stolen from her car’s trunk at 1192 E. Newport Center Dr.

June 29: The store manager at 3780 N. Federal Hwy. said a subject entered the store and selected a bag of popcorn and began eating it inside. When confronted, the subject fled the store without paying. The loss was estimated at $1.

June 29: The store manager at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. said a subject entered the store and took cigarettes from behind the counter and fled the store without paying for them. The two cartons were valued at $158.98.

June 29: A police officer observed a vehicle run a red light and conducted a traffic stop at 5200 N. Federal Hwy. The driver advised police that his driver’s license was suspended and the vehicle was towed from the location.

June 26: A woman reported that a man came onto her patio at her home at 441 SE 14 St. and stole a bicycle valued at $180.

June 26: A man took several tools valued at $316 and claimed he was going to use the tools to work on a project he had been hired to do. The man did not do the work and did not return the tools. The incident was reported at 60 SW 12 Ave.

June 26: A man reported his scooter stolen from an apartment parking lot at 4351 NW 9 Ave.

June 29: A woman reported that while she was applying for a job at Dunkin Donuts at 1101 S. Powerline Rd., another woman stole her wallet.

June 29: It was reported that a man cashed a fraudulent paycheck for $1,000 at Fine Furniture at 225 S. Federal Hwy.

June 29: It was reported that an air conditioning unit valued at $2,000 was stolen from an unoccupied home at 201 NW 7 Court.

Lighthouse Point

June 15: Staff at a doctor’s office at 2502 N. Federal Hwy. observed a theft where a patient left his wallet on the counter and an individual removed $170 from it. The patient had recovered his money and did not pursue charges against the subject.

June 15: A city resident paid the building department for bathroom renovations made without a permit at 1701 NE 22 Ave. The check ,which was dropped off, was returned for insufficient funds. The amount of the check was $6887.87.

June 17: A resident found a dog running loose at 3300 NE 23 Ave. and brought it into the police department. The dog had no tag and was turned over to Broward County Animal Control.

June 19: A man reported that his car was involved in an accident. Immediately following the accident someone stole shoes valued at $65 from his car. The incident was reported at 631 Anderson Cir.

June 19: A man reported that someone broke into his vehicle and stole $2,400 worth of tools at 3901 NW 9 Ave.

June 19: A woman reported that she paid $10,286 to an electrical contractor for work that was never done. The incident was reported at 4314 NW 9 Ave.

June 19: A man was arrested and charged with felony theft and two active warrants at Marshalls at 3852 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

June 19: A woman reported that someone stole her vehicle from an apartment parking lot at 466 Lock Rd.

Lighthouse Point

June 6: The manager said a subject was walking around the store at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. for an hour. The subject then went into a bathroom and ate food. He told police he forgot his debit card and was waiting for his girlfriend to arrive to pay for it. The girlfriend arrived a short time later and paid for the items.

June 6: A subject took food items and left the store at 3780 N. Federal Hwy. The subject was apprehended outside the store and the food valued at $4 was recovered.

June 6: A male subject stole items from the store at 3780 N. Federal Hwy. and fled without paying for them.

June 12: It was reported that a former employee of Suddath Relocation at 1900 SW 43 Terr. did not return equipment valued at $440.

June 12: A man was arrested and charged with stealing $57.98 worth of items from TJ Maxx at 3812 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

June 12: A woman reported $452 worth of fraudulent charges on her credit card. She reported it at 1400 SE 8 Ave.

June 12: A man was issued a notice to appear after he was observed stealing $100 from a cash drawer at Office Depot at 270 S. Federal Hwy.

June 12: A man said that someone took out two fraudulent loans in his name. The loss was $40,000. He made the report at 827 Crystal Lake Dr.

June 6: A car came back as a stolen vehicle and when police stopped it at 2311 NE 36 St., it was discovered the tag was stolen and the subject claimed the car was recently purchased and he did not know the tag was stolen.

June 5: The victim said there was a threatening storm and he lost his paddleboard in the 3000 block of NE 31 Ave. A day later, it was recovered in another part of the city. The paddleboard was valued at $1,120.

June 5: The father said he let his son borrow his car as long as he made the registration and insurance payments. He said the son stopped making payments and then was ignoring the father asking for a return of the vehicle to 2630 NE 48 St. The father asked that the vehicle be reported as stolen.

June 5: A woman reported that a man entered her car at 4809 N. Dixie Hwy., pushed her out of the car and drove away.

June 5: A man reported that $2,500 was missing from his shirt pocket in his bedroom closet at 1402 SW 1 Way.

June 5: It was reported that someone broke into a shed at Parkway United Methodist Church at 100 NE 44 St. and stole power hand tools.

June 6: A woman was arrested and charged with stealing $296 from Marshalls at 3852 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

May 23: Someone smashed the front window of a vehicle while it was parked at 3116 N. Federal Hwy. The damage was $1,000.

May 30: A man said that someone stole his Ford F250 from the Extended Stay at 1200 SW 11 Way.

May 30: A man reported that someone stole his power tool case with a number of valuable tools inside. The incident was reported at 520 Deer Creek Jefferson Dr.

May 30: A woman was arrested for punching a woman at McDonalds at 300 W. Hillsboro Blvd. during an argument.

June 1: A woman reported that three storage units were broken into in a housing complex. She had been asked to check the units by the property manager. She is asking the owners of the units if anything is missing. The incident was reported at 4109 Oakridge V.

June 2: It was reported that someone stole a socket set from NAPA Auto Parts at 3801 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

May 11: The victim returned to her Lincoln MKX while it was parked at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. and noticed a crack in the driver’s side window. Nothing was taken and no entry was made.

May 11: The victim said someone filled out an application for a KIA at 4250 N. Federal Hwy., and the application was fraudulent and the vehicle was reported as stolen.

May 23: Someone smashed the front window of a vehicle while it was parked at 3116 N. Federal Hwy. The damage was $1,000.

May 22: A woman reported that her former boyfriend broke into her home at 5340 NE 10 Ave. The man attempted to drag her out of her home. The woman’s father came out of his bedroom with a bat and the man fled in a vehicle.

May 22: A man reported that someone he knows stole his laptop computer from 460 Deer Creek Jefferson Dr.

May 22: A man reported that his vehicle was stolen. It was broken into and the ignition was punched. The vehicle was later recovered in Homestead.

May 22: A woman reported that her car had been keyed at 321 NW 3 Ave.

May 27: A woman reported her Chrysler PT Cruiser stolen by her boyfriend at 170 SE 3 St.

Lighthouse Point

May 8: The victim lost a wallet containing a driver’s license, $50 cash, five credit cards and an insurance card at 3701 NE 22 Ave. The loss was $131.

May 8: A subject asked the victim to reposition her shopping cart in the store at 3722 N. Federal Hwy. and the victim believes her purse was stolen at that time. The purse contained credit cards and $120 in cash.

May 10: The victim found her 2013 VW Passat was keyed at 2240 NE 36 St. The damage was estimated at $500.
