Aug. 21: A man reported that his 2012 Dodge Caravan was stolen from 201 E. Sample Rd.
Aug. 24: A man reported that three floor polishing machines, each valued at $1,500, and two vacuums, valued at $1,000 each, were stolen from his van at 101 Lock Rd.
Aug. 25: A woman reported that two men stole her purse with a cell phone and social security card at 761 NE 43 Ct.
Aug. 25: A man reported that a woman stole his gym shorts and a $4,000 necklace at 1938 NE 6 St.
Sept. 5: A suspect cut down plants on a business’s property at 2651 NW 48 St.

Aug. 11: A subject was observed placing a bike against a tree at the apartment complex at 2050 NE 39 St. The subject went inside a residence and $350 in currency and $30 in painkillers went missing. The loss was $380.
Aug. 12: Someone broke into an apartment at 2321 NE 48 St. and stole a computer monitor, $200 cash and two iPads. The loss was $460.
Aug. 12: The front window screen to an apartment at 1951 NE 39 St. was slightly open when the victim returned home. He then noticed the screen to the patio was open and the patio door was open. No entry was made.

Aug. 15: A woman reported that while she was sleeping, someone broke into her home at 212 NW 53 St. and stole $5,500 worth of jewelry.
Aug. 15: A woman reported her home at 262 NW 54 St. was burglarized and three gold rings each valued at $500, a wallet and $25 in cash were stolen.
Aug. 16: A man said that another man hit him and his girlfriend and then stole his wallet with $522 in cash. The two men were involved in an altercation at 250 S. Ocean Dr. and both men had lumps on their heads. All three subjects gave different accounts of what took place.
Aug. 17: A home at 284 NE 39 Court was broken into through a rear door and three televisions were stolen.
Aug. 17: A man reported that his former roommate moved out and stole a $1,500 welding machine. The incident was reported at 1385 SW 29 Ave. The man accused of the theft was contacted and he denied taking the machine.
Aug. 28: A victim reported the bed liner of his truck was stolen at 2972 SW 11 Pl.
Aug. 28: Merchandise was taken from a store located at 3740 W. Hillsboro Blvd. As the subject fled without attempting to pay, his vehicle struck another parked vehicle outside.
Aug. 28: A subject took items from a store located at 3740 W. Hillsboro Blvd. by concealing them in her purse and clothing, and left without attempting to pay for the merchandise. The subject was detained outside the store by Publix Loss Prevention.

Aug. 6: Two mountain bikes valued at $80 were stolen from the side of a building at 2500 NE 36 St.
Aug. 6: A loss prevention officer observed a female subject place items in a shopping cart and left the store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. without paying. The merchandise was valued at $37.62. She was apprehended outside the store.
Aug. 10: The victim said someone stole a Donald Trump political support sign from his residence at 2547 NE 22 Ave. The loss was $20.

Aug. 10: A woman was arrested and charged with larceny and petty theft. She took two items off a shelf at Marshalls at 3852 W. Hillsboro Blvd. and returned them to the customer service desk. She received a gift card valued at $90.08. The customer service representative continued to watch the woman as she reached the door of the store. She was stopped at the door and arrested. The woman also was in possession of heroin, and four crack cocaine pipes with cocaine in them.
Aug. 10: A woman was issued a Notice to Appear in Court after stealing $93.04 items from Walmart at 1101 S. Military Tr.
Aug. 10: A man was reported for stealing tools from Advance Auto Parts at 286 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Aug. 10: It was reported that an attempt was made to break into a home at 2518 SW Natura Blvd.
Aug. 20: Three unknown subjects removed three large pallets of bundled cardboard at 1901 NW 49 Ct.
Aug. 20: A victim arrived at the register of a store and discovered that her wallet was missing at 4008 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Aug. 21: An unknown person was driving a vehicle and collided with a tree and left the scene at 3440 SW 2 Ct.
Aug. 21: An unknown person shoplifted after taking several items from the store without paying for them at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Aug. 22: A subject entered a residence at 750 Lock Rd. while the victim was in the shower. He pointed a gun at her and stole her purse. The victim fled out of the residence and the suspect fired one shot at her as she fled. This case is currently under investigation.

July 22: The victim reported that he thought he heard something. When he went to investigate, he discovered the screen at the bottom of the jalousie window appeared to be cut at 2100 NE 42 Ct. No entry was made.
July 25: A person said he was the victim of identity theft at 2800 N. Federal Hwy. There were two withdrawals – one for $160 and the other for $900.
July 26: A business check in the amount of $5,630.13 was fraudulently cashed at a local bank at 3500 N. Federal Hwy.

Aug. 4: A man reported that someone stole his pickup truck from 4100 N. Powerline Rd.
Aug. 5: A car parked at the Regents Bank parking lot at 77 S. Federal Hwy. was broken into and a bag valued at $200 and a $50 gift card was stolen.
Aug. 6: A home at 1200 NW 49 St. was broken into and jewelry was stolen.
Aug. 8: The All Star Sports Bar at 2301 W. Sample Rd. was broken into. Thousands of dollars were stolen and extensive damage was done to the business. A man and woman are suspected of committing the theft.
Aug. 12: Shoplifting reported at Target, 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Aug. 14: Criminal mischief reported at 3401 Deer Creek Country Club Blvd. The victim reported the north side door of the property was damaged.

July 18: The victim said two females entered her grooming store at 2016 NE 36 St. and believes they stole her cell phone from the front counter. The loss was $600.
July 19: Someone punched the lock of a 2013 Chrysler that was parked at 2470 N. Federal Hwy. and stole a briefcase, sunglasses and prescription glasses. The loss was $1,195.
July 19: Someone stole a tag off a 1985 Chevy parked at 2310 NE 29 St.

July 27: Someone broke into a home at 371 NE 45 St. while the victim was sleeping and stole various items from the home.
July 28: A woman reported her home at 351 W. Hillsboro Blvd. was broken into and debit cards and an iPhone were stolen.
July 28: A woman reported her car parked at 3910 NW 3 Ave, was broken into. The driver’s side door lock was damaged and five pairs of sneakers were stolen. Video surveillance showed two men around the car.
July 28: A woman reported her car parked at 410 NW 39 St. was broken into and a leather briefcase, jewelry and a makeup bag were stolen.
Aug. 6: A victim’s stepson, who had been kicked out of the home six months ago, entered the residence with a key that he never returned. Once inside the residence, at 255 NW 41 Way, he took six boxes of rolled cable, valued at approximately $1500.

July 5: A subject came into a store at 5200 N. Federal Hwy. for the third time in two hours to buy a pack of cigarettes. The store employee asked the subject for his name; however, it did not match the name on the credit card. The subject fled the store. The victim was contacted and said he lost his credit card two days earlier at an unknown location.
July 5: The victim said a subject stole $5,300 from him while he was purchasing a gun at 3100 NE 48 Court. The subjects were stopped by police nearby and identified. The money was recovered and cannabis was also found in the vehicle.
July 9: A victim was working at a store at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. when she returned from a break and discovered her driver’s side window was smashed and her purse was stolen from under the driver’s seat. It contained $40 in cash, a driver’s license and credit cards. The loss was $207.

July 22: A woman reported that a man stole her phone while she was at the pool. The man fled in a car. The incident took place at 603 Siesta Key Circle.
July 22: Someone stole four factory wheels and tires from a vehicle at 588 Trace Cir.
July 22: A woman was observed stealing four pieces of jewelry and a pair of shoes for a total loss of $91.95 at Marshalls at 3852 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
July 22: A woman reported her home at 503 NE 47 St. was burglarized and a purse, Florida driver’s license, phone, six credit cards and $40 were stolen.

July 1: Someone took the victim’s kayak from the east side of his home at 2751 NE 48 Court. The loss was $500.
July 2: A subject took $76.67 in meat and fled the store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. without paying for it. He did pay for some other groceries in his car. The subject was apprehended outside the store.
July 2: The victim said he used his wallet at a gas station at 4900 N. Federal Hwy. and couldn’t find it when he went to his car. The loss was $42.

July 12: A clerk reported that two men stole three packs of beer from the Dollar Store at 1377 S. Dixie Hwy.
July 12: The driver’s side window of a car parked at 887 Rich Dr. was smashed and a camera was stolen from the center console.
July 12: Two vehicles parked at 977 Spring Cir. had their front windows smashed. A cell phone was stolen from one of the cars.
July 13: A man wearing a hoodie used a gun to rob a man of his wallet in the parking lot of the Hampton Inn at 660 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
July 20: The victim left her purse at Dominos Pizza, at 3380 W. Hillsboro Blvd. When she returned to the business, it was gone.

June 25: The victim noticed a glove compartment open and the front passenger side door was popped open at 2371 NE 49 St. Nothing appeared to be taken.
June 28: Someone entered an unlocked vehicle at 2710 NE 52 Court and rummaged through the center console. Nothing appeared to be taken.
June 29: Someone broke a window of a renter’s home (2121 NE 40 Court) who was out of town. It will cost several hundred dollars to replace.

July 4: A woman who was intoxicated got into an argument with her fiancé. The man said he did not want her to drive because she was drunk and took her car keys. The woman then punched the man in the face. The officer asked the woman her name and she refused to give it. The woman was arrested and charged with obstructing an investigation without violence, as well as domestic violence. The incident was reported at 103 Fairway Dr.
July 5: A man reported that his neighbor’s brother threatened to kill him while he was sleeping. The man wanted to have the threat documented by law enforcement. The incident was reported at 1017 SE 3 Street.
July 5: A woman reported her car stolen at 1428 SE 4 Ave.
July 7: A woman reported that someone tried to break into her house by prying open the front door. Police found pry marks. The incident was reported at 1101 SW 8 Ave.
July 11: Criminal mischief reported at 500 Lock Rd.

June 23: A subject failed to return a 2016 Hyundai Accent to a dealer at 3400 N. Federal Hwy. per the rental agreement.
June 24: The victim went to a McDonald’s restroom at 4830 N. Federal Hwy. and placed her wallet on a toilet paper rack and, left. The victim noticed the wallet was missing and, when she went to retrieve it, the wallet was gone. The wallet contained $20 in cash, a driver’s license and bankcards. The loss was $166.
June 24: The victim had a subject paint his house at 2367 NE 26 St. and has had an ongoing dispute with him. The victim believes the subject is not a certified contractor.

June 28: Someone attempted to break into Wholesale Granite Tops at 271 NW 1 St. The person threw a cinder block at the front door. The front door has shatterproof glass and did not break.
June 29: The Food Market manager reported that two men and a woman entered the store and caused disturbance. The incident took place at 747 S. Federal Hwy.
July 1: A man reported that golf clubs and a golf bag were stolen from his car parked at 722 NW 42 Pl.
July 3: A man reported that the left window to his car parked at 660 W. Hillsboro Blvd. was broken and several items were stolen.

June 18: Someone entered an unlocked 2015 Volvo at 3750 NE 23 Ave. and stole sunglasses, a Thermos bag and an iPad phone charger. The loss was $875.
June 20: A subject took two steaks from the store at 4800 N. Federal Hwy. and left without paying for them and then attempted to seek a $55.36 refund without a receipt. The subject then fled the store.
June 23: The victim said the bank at 2850 N. Federal Hwy. contacted her about her account being overdrawn due to two ATM withdrawls being made. The victim believes it may have been her granddaughter’s boyfriend who may have gained access because he had taken her bankcard a year ago. The victim was still in possession of her card. The amount withdrawn was $1,080.

June 14: Someone stole four sets of hair clippers and a bag valued at $131.96 from a store at 3580 N. Federal Hwy.
