Nov. 30 A man reported that he believes three men stole an iPad and an iPod from his home at 660 Siesta Key Circle.

Dec. 1 A man was arrested and charged with two residential burglaries. The arrest took place at 387 SW 34 Terr.

Dec. 2 The theft of two irrigation pumps from Crystal Lake Golf Club at 1391 Nw 45 St. was reported. Total value of the stolen pumps was estimated at $3,000.

Dec. 3 An automobile was reported stolen from 1056 S. Military Trail.

Dec. 3 An automobile was reported stolen from 1333 S. Dixie Hwy.

Dec. 4 A man reported that the front right door of the car he was renting was stolen. The report was made at 427 Lock Rd.

Dec. 4 A witness reported that the windows of two cars parked at 331 NE 48 St. were smashed. Change and cosmetic jewelry were reported stolen from the cars. The witness believes two men were responsible for the damage and thefts.

Dec. 4 A housekeeper at La Quinta Inn, Deerfield Beach, at 351 W. Hillsboro Blvd. reported that a flat-screen television was missing from a room.

Dec. 4 A woman reported her automobile stolen from 351 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Dec. 4 A man reported his automobile stolen from 1223 SW 1 Way.

DEERFIELD – District 4

Nov. 30 BSO was working a bank robbery at Chase Bank, SW 10 St. and Military Trail
at approximately 2 p.m. Deputies detained one suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

Nov. 22 A home at 2780 NE 25 St. was broken into. A laptop and two wooden jewelry boxes were reported stolen.

Nov. 23 A woman reported a vessel bench stolen from her home at 2150 NE 48 Court. She estimated the value of the bench at $400.

Nov.27 A woman who works at Sally Beauty Supply at 2474 N. Federal Hwy. reported that 300 pieces of nail polish were stolen. She believes four women who were in the store may have stolen the nail polish. The estimated total value of the stolen nail polish is $1,797.

Nov. 28 A woman reported her wallet stolen from her car parked at 2620 NE 53 St. The wallet contained $140.

Nov. 29 A woman was observed stealing medication from Publix at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. She is believed to have stolen eight packages of Zantac and 10 packages of Zyrtec.

Nov. 30 A man reported his cell phone stolen from his car at 2250 NE 44 St.

Nov. 30 An employee of Simonize Car Wash at 5190 N. Federal Hwy. reported that a commercial pressure washer machine was stolen. The value of the washer was estimated at $2,000.

Nov. 25 A man reported that a residence at 26 Tilford B was burglarized and $7,700 in cash was stolen.

Nov. 25 A man reported that his car was missing from the parking lot of 4022 Ventnor C.

Nov. 25 A man reported that three men approached him while he was using his computer at 760 Tivoli Circle. One man showed him a gun and demanded that he surrender his laptop computer. The men fled.

Nov. 26 The owner of Berger Windows at 4100 N. Powerline Rd. reported an open bed trailer valued at about $2,000 was stolen from the business.

Nov. 26 A woman reported that a man stole her purse while she was at 1319 S. Military Trail and fled in a car.

Nov. 26 A man reported that a trailer was stolen from 1323 SW 1 Way.

Nov. 26 A man reported that a man approached him and then stole a gold necklace from his neck while he was sitting in his car at 299 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Nov. 27 A woman reported that she was staying at the home of a relative at 4725 NW 3 St. The woman said she returned to the residence and found it burglarized. Televisions, a laptop and jewelry were stolen.

Nov. 27 The owner of Power Construction at 1323 SW 1 Way reported that he believes a former employee entered the business and stole $11,000 worth of merchandise.

Nov. 27 A woman was arrested and charged with a narcotics felony at 1000 S. Federal Hwy. She was found to be in possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana.

Nov. 27 A man reported that his car was stolen from a parking lot at 1629 E. Hillsboro Blvd.

Nov. 27 A car was stolen from a residence at 280 NW 2 Ave.

Nov. 27 A woman was arrested and charged with stealing a car from the parking lot of Hampton Inn at 660 W.Hillsboro Blvd.

Nov. 15 The caretaker of a home at 30 NE 11 Way reported the home was broken into and said rooms had been entered. It was not determined if anything had been stolen.

Nov. 15 A woman reported that her home at 1472 SE 5 St. was broken into. She said a laptop, a plasma television and a jewelry box containing $6,000 worth of jewelry was stolen.

Nov. 15 A person reported that lug nuts were removed from three of four tires on an automobile parked at 1535 SE 14 Court.

Nov. 16 A man reported that his truck was stolen from the parking lot of the Best Western Deerfield Beach Hotel & Suites at 1050 Newport Center Dr.

Nov. 17 A man reported that someone entered his truck at 558 NW 44 Terr. and stole about $1,000 worth of tools.

Nov. 17 A man was arrested and charged with stealing a Jet Ski and trailer valued at $17,000 from Riva Motorsports at 3971 N. Dixie Hwy.

Nov. 17 A woman reported a break-in at her home at 425 SE 17 Terr. and that jewelry and cash were stolen.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Nov. 19 Armed robbery was reported at 1200 W. Hillsboro Blvd. (formerly the Mobil Station, now 7-11) at 10:30 p.m. Victim stated that an unknown white male entered the business with a handgun and demanded money. The clerk surrendered approximately $60 dollars in cash and a pack of cigarettes. Suspect fled southbound towards Holiday Park. Canine and aviation responded.

Nov. 19 Felony narcotics arrest took place at 200 S. Powerline Rd. at 2:45 a.m. During the course of a traffic stop, a passenger in the vehicle was found to be in possession of controlled substances, was placed into custody, and transported to jail.

Nov. 19 Residential burglary arrest was made in Deer Run at 170 SW 32 Ave., at 6 p.m. On Nov. 15, a residential burglary occurred at the above address where two black males and one white male were seen forcibly entering into the victim’s house via smashing out a rear window. Entire incident was witnessed by a nearby resident. One of the suspects was identified and on Nov. 18, the witness was presented with a BSO double blind line-up, where the suspect was positively identified as taking part in this incident. Case is ongoing. Subject charged with grand theft.

Nov. 19 Residential burglary was reported in Riverglen, 125 NW 45 Ave., at 11:09 a.m. Victims reported that their bicycles, tied to the carport by a locked wire cable, were taken. Bicycles were located in the rear of the carport by the front entry door. No suspects or witnesses located.

Nov. 4 A man was issued a trespass warning and asked not to return to a Publix at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. after he was observed to have stolen a package of crackers and candy.

Nov. 6 A woman reported that a woman attempted to steal her purse while she was at Publix Supermarket at 3700 N. Federal Hwy.

Nov. 7 A woman reported that a female relative died. She said that a man who had been living with the deceased woman had taken two televisions and a computer monitor. The woman believed that the televisions and monitor should go to the deceased woman’s two sons. It was determined that the deceased woman may have wanted the televisions and monitor to go to the man and that the sons were not interested in pursuing the matter. The report was made at 3180 NE 48 Court.

Nov.10 A woman was arrested and charged with stealing $97.41 worth of groceries from a Publix at 2450 N. Federal Hwy.

Nov. 11 A man reported a firearm missing from his home at 1971 NE 31 St. The gun was later found.

Nov. 11 A man reported that his coin and antique collection were stolen from his home at 1960 NE 30 St. The man believes a contractor who worked in his home may have stolen the collection. The man said there was no sign of break-in.

Nov. 15 A woman reported that the tires were stolen from her automobile at 2741 NE 47 St.

Nov. 12 A man reported that his home was entered at 750 NW 38 Ave. and $14,000 worth of jewelry and a computer valued at $1,500 were stolen.

Nov.12 A man reported that his home at 1351 SW 9 Ave.  was broken into. He said a side door to his garage was kicked in and his home was ransacked.

Nov. 12 A witness observed three men steal dumbbell weights from the clubhouse of Tivoli Apartments at 603 Siesta Key Circle. The weights were placed in a vehicle and recovered. The men were observed fleeing in a car.

Nov. 12 A woman reported her 15 solar-powered yard lights stolen from her property at 1448 SE 7 St.

Nov. 13 A man reported his skateboard valued at $150 stolen from his property at 414 NW 41 Avenue. The man said he believes he knows who took the skateboard.

Nov. 13 A man reported that his car was stolen from 490 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Nov. 13 A man was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics. Deputies were called to 223 SE 13 St. regarding a domestic situation. Deputies then found a Xanax bar and 5.5 grams of marijuana on him.

Nov. 13 A man entered Snappy’s store at 115 SE 10 Street for a few minutes. When he came out, he found that his bicycle had been stolen.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Nov. 12 Trespassing arrest was made at 3401 W. Hillsboro Blvd. at 3:56 a.m. BSO Deerfield Beach detectives working an early-morning operation in response to a recent spike in crime in Deer Creek spotted a suspicious person looking into a van window behind Tropical Fitness. When detectives attempted to make contact, suspect fled on foot and swam across a canal into the Preserves Apartment complex. With assistance from road patrol, the Aviation Unit and K9, the suspect was apprehended. In the suspect’s possession were burglary tools and gloves. Suspect was charged with possession of burglary tools, resisting arrest, loitering and prowling, and trespassing.

Nov. 12 Residential burglary arrest was made in Starlight Cove, 750 NW 38 Ave., at 11 p.m.  Victim reported that an unknown subject entered the residence without permission by cutting a lock on the rear gate, entering the screened-in patio, and prying open the rear sliding glass door. Once inside, subject took jewelry from the master bedroom valued at $14,000, and a Mac notebook computer valued at $1,500. Scene was processed.

Nov. 3 A woman reported that her car, parked at 280 NW 45 Ave., was broken into and a Coach purse valued at $400 was stolen.

Nov. 3 A woman reported that her home at 660 Emerald Way was broken into and $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen.

Nov. 3 A woman reported that her home at 504 SE 13 Dr. was entered and jewelry, a Rolex watch and an iPad were stolen for a loss of $8,000.

Nov. 4 A reported front window of a residence at 2255 Woodlands Way was smashed but no entry was made.

Nov. 4 A man reported when he walked through the parking lot of LaQuinta Inn at 351 W. Hillsboro Blvd., a man tackled him and tried to steal his gold necklace. The victim fought off his attacker.

Nov. 4 An employee of Bicycle Generation at 1346 E. Hillsboro Blvd. reported that a man walked into the store and stole a bicycle valued at $3,000.

Nov. 5 A woman reported that her car parked at 333 SE 20 Ave. was entered and two pairs of sunglasses were stolen.

Nov. 6 A man was arrested and charged with Grand Theft Auto and violation of probation at 333 SE 20 Ave. The man had stolen a motorcycle and was on probation for robbery.

Nov. 6 A person entered an unlocked car at 4 SE 14 Place and stole a CD player and receiver.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Oct. 28  Residential burglary occurred in Deer Creek, 2913 Via Napoli. Victim’s housekeeper called to report unknown person(s) entered the residence. While inside, the suspect(s) removed jewelry items. Victim will put together a list upon return to the residence.

Oct. 29  Burglary to a business took place at Maxim Crane Works, 3800 N. Powerline Rd. Unknown suspect(s) cut the east side fence and entered the compound. There was a truck on the property that had items in the rear tampered with, but the vehicle owner was not able to respond. Total loss to be determined. There were no surveillance cameras.

Oct. 30 Conveyance burglary was reported in Deer Creek, 245 Deer Creek Blvd. Complainant advised unknown suspect(s) entered possibly unlocked vehicle and stole a GPS ($150) and radar detector ($200) from the interior, and golf clubs ($700) from the trunk. Vehicle was not processed due to inclement weather.

Oct. 31 A woman who was staying at the home of her daughter reported that someone entered the home at 3314 NE 27 Terr. and stole diamond earrings.

Oct. 31 A man reported his outboard motor stolen from his boat at 2364 30 Court.

Oct. 28 A man reported his car stolen from 570 NW 43 St.

Oct. 29 A woman reported her home at 3022 Lake Shore Dr. was broken into and a flat-screen television stolen.

Oct. 29 A woman reported her home at 1010 SW 11 Court broken into. She reported that three flat-screen televisions, two laptop computers, 20 purses and jewelry were stolen.

Oct. 29 A man staying at the Hampton Inn at 600 W. Hillsboro Blvd. reported that his vehicle was stolen from the hotel parking lot.

Oct. 29 A man was arrested and charged with grand theft and dealing in stolen property at 300 NE 2 St. The man stole a bicycle valued at $500 and sold it to a pawn shop for $60.

Oct. 30 The compound at Maxim Crane Works at 3800 N. Powerline Rd. was broken into. It was reported that items in a truck were tampered with.

Oct. 30 A woman reported that her home at 4511 NW 6 Ave. was broken into and a flat-screen television was stolen.

Oct. 30 A vehicle was stolen from a parking garage at 961 S. Ocean Dr.

DEERFIELD — District 4

Oct. 20  Grand theft was reported at 1761 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Victim stated that unknown suspect(s) removed the catalytic converter from underneath her 1996 Toyota 4-Runner.

Oct. 20  Grand theft occured at the Tri-Rail station, 1300 W. Hillsboro Blvd.Victim states that unknown person(s) removed his catalytic converter from his 2008 Honda CRV.

Oct. 20  Grand theft took place at Deer Creek,  3001 Country Club Blvd.Victim states that unknown person(s) removed muffler and catalytic converter from her 1997 red Toyota Forerunner.

Oct. 20  Burglary was reported to a residence in Deer Run, 130 SW 32 Ave. BSO responded to an alarm and discovered that a burglary had been committed. Point of entry was by prying open the front door. Taken from the residence was a laptop, and jewelry. Scene was processed for latent prints and the area was canvassed.

Oct. 20  Conveyance burglary occured at Quiet Waters Park, S. Powerline Rd. Victim stated that unknown person(s) entered 2003 Honda Element by smashing out a window. While inside, a bag containing shoes was taken.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Oct. 23 Two men were observed running from a home that had been burglarized. One of the men was arrested and charged with loitering and prowling. The other man was arrested and charged with dealing in stolen property. He was found in possession of a stolen cell phone. The arrest took place at 2425 NE 22 Ave.

Oct. 21 A man was arrested and charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and grand theft of over $20,000. The man broke into a home at 53 SE 5 Ave. when the owner was sleeping. The man stole more than $30,000 worth of jewelry, electronics and other items.

Oct. 21 A man reported that he was approached by a man with a gun, who threatened him at 951 NE 51 St. The victim gave the gun holder his wallet, money, watch and jewelry.

Oct. 21 A man reported his car stolen from 1310 SE 14 Court.

Oct. 22 A woman reported her car parked at 1005 S. Federal Hwy. broken into. She reported her purse with a cell phone and $100 stolen.

Oct. 22 A man reported that while his car was parked at the LA Fitness garage at 1000 E. Hillsboro Blvd., someone broke into the vehicle and stole his iPod, digital camera and GPS.

Oct. 22 A man said that his roommate at the Comfort Inn, 50 SE 20 Ave., stole $1,000 from his wallet. The wallet was in the room safe.

Oct. 23 A man was observed stealing $60 worth of clothing from Styles for Less at 3848 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The man took the clothing and escaped in his car.

Oct. 23 A woman left her purse in a shopping cart at Target at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. When she returned to look for it, she found that it was missing.

Oct. 23 A woman reported her purse stolen from either her home or vehicle; she was not sure. The incident was reported at 499 NW 3 Ave.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Oct. 14-15  Burglary to a business was reported at Westway Towing, 2571 W. Hillsboro Blvd.  Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the company office by unknown means (no signs of forced entry were discovered) and used tools from the storage room, including an electric saw, to cut off the drop door on the floor safe. An undetermined amount of cash was removed from the safe. Video was available and scene was processed.

Oct. 15 Grand theft occurred in the shopping plaza at 1895 W. Hillsboro Blvd., NE corner of Hillsboro Boulevard and Military Trail.Victim drove bike to shopping plaza and, while inside, the unsecured bike, was stolen.

Oct. 15 Grand theft was reported Oct. 17 at Dollar Tree, 4005 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Victim advised that her wallet was stolen as she shopped. The wallet, valued at $900, contained $600 cash, the victim’s passport and DL, and nine Chase Visa Cards. The victim advised that the credit card company called on 10-15-11 and advised her that the cards were used at the Super Target at 3500 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The victim was unable to provide any other details.

Oct. 17 Armed robbery arrest was made at Rent-A-Center, 1706 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The day before, an employee of Rent-A-Center was robbed at gunpoint while entering a work van in the parking lot. Stolen in the robbery were two bank deposits. Suspect fled on foot east through the parking lot. A perimeter was quickly established with Canine and Air Unit on scene. One person of interest was detained at the scene. BSO Robbery detectives responded and through their investigation, quickly identified and arrested the armed suspect.

Oct. 16 A woman reported her Porsche stolen from her home at 2765 NE 25 St.

Oct. 17 A man who works at CVS at 3580 N. Federal Hwy. reported that a man walked out of the store with five boxes of diapers. The employee asked the man to return the diapers, but the man placed them in his car and left. One box fell out of the car.
