Oct. 17: It was reported that $27,950 worth of lawn equipment was stolen from GRC Landscaping at 4100 Powerline Rd.
Oct. 17: A woman reported that her home at 3385 SW 1 Ct. was burglarized.
Oct. 17: A man reported that his home at 4188 NW 5 Dr. was burglarized. Firearms, jewelry and more than $3,000 were stolen.
Oct. 18: Someone entered a car parked at 4131 NW 1 St. and stole a wallet with $10.
Oct. 18: Someone stole a car that had been parked at 424 Lock Rd.

Oct. 9: The victim at 2221 NE 40 Ct. received a message from someone claiming to be from Apple Care who said the victim’s iPad was hacked. The victim was told she would be reimbursed with $2,000 if she paid $1,400 in iTunes gift cards. After purchasing the gift cards, she was told she needed to provide more money on a credit card. The victim became suspicious and contacted police.
Oct. 9: Someone stole a license plate off a 1979 Kawasaki motorcycle at 4440 NE 29 Ave.
Oct. 12: Police responded to a smoke alarm fire at 3500 NE 31 Ave. The Fire Department was already on the scene. The garage door was open and Fire Dept. personnel were inside.

Oct. 7: A man reported his car stolen from 1865 S. Powerline Rd.
Oct. 10: A man reported his car stolen from 431 SE 13 Ct.
Oct. 10: It was reported that a generator was stolen from a construction site at 125 NW 7 Ct.
Oct. 10: A woman reported her home at 1431 SE 2 Terr. broken into and $2,000 worth of jewelry and a passport stolen.
Oct. 10: A man and woman were observed stealing items from Bealls at 1079 S. Federal Hwy.

Sept. 25: Police received an anonymous call regarding an open door and a truck in the driveway at a vacant home at 2200 NE 34 Ct. Police checked the interior of the residence but were unable to secure it because the garage door was blocked.
Sept. 25: The victim checked her bank account at 2800 N. Federal Hwy. and saw that $7,510 had been withdrawn from her account. It is unknown how the withdrawal had occurred.
Sept. 28: The victim returned home at 2120 NE 42 Ct. from the Keys to discover someone had stolen a handgun from a combination-locked briefcase. Nothing else was taken. The loss was $250.

Oct. 3: A man reported that another man assaulted him with a knife at 405 SW 13 Pl.
Oct. 3: A man and a woman were caught on camera stealing a Fitbit valued at $200 from Target at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Oct. 3: A man reported his license plate stolen from his car parked at 4365 SW 10 Pl.
Oct. 3: A woman reported that her boyfriend punched her in the face at 200 NE 39 Ct.
Oct. 4: A man reported his bicycle stolen from 120 SW 3 Ave.

Sept. 15: The victim said someone opened a bank account in his name. The victim received bank cards from the account, but never activated them.
Sept. 17: The victim received two bank cards in the mail; however, the victim stated he did not order them. He suspected he was the victim of fraud.
Sept. 23: The victim received an email message on his cell phone with a message that he needed to confirm his Apple iCloud account. He sent his name and social security number and then believed he was the victim of fraud. He contacted Apple and they confirmed they did not request information from him.

Sept. 26: Someone stole a generator from a food truck parked at 1680 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Sept. 26: It was reported that there was a vehicle parked at 328 NW 43 Way and someone stole a handgun.
Sept. 26: A woman reported that her live-in boyfriend punched her in the face. The incident took place at 412 SW 10 Ct.
Sept. 26: A woman reported her car parked at 700 SW 11 Ct. was stolen. She believes the thief may have gotten the keys to the car earlier and used the key to steal the car.
Sept. 26: A man reported his home at 4910 NW 14 Terr. was broken into and two bicycles and his vehicle were stolen.

Sept. 14: The victim said her ex-husband damaged the hood on a 2007 Mazda with a piece of coral at the residence at 2101 NE 34 Ct. The victim said they did not argue and did not know why he committed the act.
Sept. 14: Police responded to a call of a theft of food from a closed business at 2701 NE 42 St. Nothing appeared to be taken per the business owner.
Sept. 14: Police responded to a suspicious incident at 3530 NE 26 Ave. and found a male subject extremely intoxicated who said he found the back door of a residence ajar. There were no signs of forced entry.

Sept. 17: A man reported that someone broke into his vehicle parked at 666 Siesta Key and stole his handgun.
Sept. 19: A woman was arrested and charged with retail theft, resisting a merchant and possession of drug paraphernalia at 202 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Sept. 19: A woman reported her car parked at 2301 W. Sample Rd. was broken into and a backpack with books, a wallet with credit cards and a Florida driver’s license stolen.
Sept. 21: A man reported his Honda Civic parked at 1645 SE 3 Ct. stolen.
Sept. 25: A vehicle parked at 1000 E. Hillsboro Blvd. was broken into and a GPS stolen.
Sept. 25: A vehicle parked at 4231 NW 9 Ave. was broken into and a wallet with $21 and a Florida driver’s license was stolen.

Sept. 2: Police responded to a report of a fight in progress. The owner of the business attempted to escort an unruly patron out of the establishment at 4460 N. Federal Hwy. and they began to fight.
Sept. 6: Someone stole a cell phone from a bench where the victim was sitting. She realized it as she was getting up to go to a store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. The loss was $200.
Sept. 9: A subject caused a disturbance in a sports bar at 4480 N. Federal Hwy. and was asked to leave after starting altercations with other patrons. The subject refused to sign a trespass warning.

Sept. 12: A man reported that a man stole 10 packs of beer and basic T-shirts from the Second Avenue Deli at 111 SE 2 Ave. The man was stopped by police and said he wanted to sell the items for crack cocaine. The owner of the deli declined prosecution but requested that he be given a trespass warning and not to return.
Sept. 14: A woman reported her wallet stolen at 1337 S. Military Tr.
Sept. 15: Someone stole two lower propeller units from two outboard engines at 3500 SW 14 St.
Sept. 15: A man entered a home at 617 SE 13 Ave. and stole a flat screen television and two DVD players.
Sept. 15: A woman reported her engagement ring stolen from 3748 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Sept. 1: Police found an abandoned 2002 Mercury Cougar at 2741 Marina Cir. Nothing appeared to be taken.
Sept. 1: Police observed a white male walking from an entrance at 2741 Carambola Cir. S. and acting suspiciously. The store owner wanted him trespassed.
Sept. 1: The victim, who lives in the 3900 block of NE 42 St., had his identity compromised as a male subject attempted to purchase a motorcycle in Miami and used the victim’s name, driver’s license and social security number.

Sept. 1: A burglary was reported at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 417 S. Dixie Hwy.
Sept. 1: A man reported that two men came to his home at 291 NW 48 Ave. regarding a dispute over money. One man displayed a gun. The man under attack ran back into his house.
Sept. 1: Two men stole clothing from Marshall’s at 3852 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Sept. 3: A man stole $20 from a tip jar at Pizzaria Brasil at 801 W. Sample Rd.
Sept. 4: A trespassing incident was reported at 200 NE 21 Ave. Subjects were observed jumping over a locked and closed pier gate during hours of non-operation.

Aug. 28: The victim from 2700 block of NE 52 Street. said his identity was stolen when he received notice that several accounts had been opened in his name. Someone withdrew $15,729.38 from his bank.
Aug. 28: Police stopped a subject walking on a road at 2100 NE 49 St. and was asked for identification. A search revealed two active warrants. The subject was searched and prescription narcotics and marijuana were found on his person. He could not provide a prescription for them.
Aug. 28: A subject was in the checkout line and had concealed items in her purse. Since she had not exited the store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy., the items were returned and no crime was committed. The store wanted her trespassed so while they were doing that, the subject’s friend approached. Police asked if they could search her purse and she admitted to taking deli items valued at $4.67 from the store.

Aug. 28: A man reported that $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from his apartment at 4389 SW 10 Pl.
Aug. 29: A burglary of a business was reported at 900 SE 8 Ave. A man reported that a person he knows stole items from his cargo container in the parking lot of the business.
Aug. 29: A burglary of a business was reported at 4100 N. Powerline Rd. Someone broke into a business and stole items.
Aug. 30: A man handed his cellphone to a man who said he wanted to use it. The man then took the phone and ran off. The phone was valued at $500 and the incident was reported at 299 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Sept.1: A Toyota Corolla was stolen from Broward Health North at 201 E. Sample Rd.

Aug. 18: A male subject was trespassed from a store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. after he admitted to taking items and concealing them in a bag. The items were recovered.
Aug. 24: A 2016 Mazda 3 was not returned per a rental agreement to 3400 N. Federal Hwy. Numerous attempts to reach the subject were unsuccessful. Subsequently, police reached the subject who said the vehicle was involved in an accident and was towed. The rental car agency has since confirmed the vehicle was in their possession.
Aug. 23: Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at a store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. The store manager said the man was walking around with a bag in his hand full of items and had other items in his hand. He did not walk past any points of sale; however, the subject was trespassed from the store.

Aug. 22: An individual stole various food items from a Marathon Gas Station at 299 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Aug. 22: Someone entered a car parked at 315 Lock Rd. and stole a driver’s license, a credit card and a gun valued at $635.
Aug. 22: A man reported a car he had rented from Ambassador Rent-A-Car stolen from 900 10 St.
Aug. 22: A man reported that two men robbed him of his wallet and stabbed him at 100 SW 1 Terr.
Aug. 24: A woman reported her car parked at 1173 W. Hillsboro Blvd. broken into and a purse stolen.
Lighthouse Point
Aug. 18: Police responded to a call of a shoplifting and the subjects left the store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. in a Chevy Blazer. The vehicle was located and the two subjects were found to have the merchandise from the deli, valued at $22.60, from the store. It was determined that the male was responsible for the theft and the female was uninvolved.
Aug. 18: The victim said someone removed 10-15 coconuts from his yard at 4000 NE 24 Ave. and he had it captured on his security camera. Police were able to track down the vehicle to a Boca Raton man who admitted to taking the coconuts.

Aug. 15: A woman reported her vehicle hood ornament stolen at 950 S. Ocean Dr.
Aug. 15: A man said his car was entered and $100 in cash, three credit cards and a baseball hat were stolen at 561 N. Ocean Dr.
Aug. 15: Someone broke into a woman’s car and stole her purse at 2229 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Aug. 15: A woman reported her bicycle stolen from 224 Ventnor M.
Aug. 18: A woman reported her purse containing $1,300 stolen from her car at 1000 E. Hillsboro Blvd.

Aug. 15: Police responded to a transformer and a pole on fire approximately 75 ft. from a residence at 2357 NE 28 Ct. There was a loud explosion and the fire was eventually put out.
Aug. 15: Police responded to an alarm at two different residences (2430 NE 31 Ct. and 2651 NE 53 Ct.) but both it seems were false alarms canceled by the residents and the homes were secure.
