DEERFIELD BEACH

Oct.14 A man reported that an air conditioning unit was stolen from a residence at 248 SW 3 St.

Oct.14 A woman parked her car at 1000 E. Hillsboro Blvd. When she returned, she noticed that her car had been broken into and her purse stolen.

Oct.14 A woman reported that her car parked at 1959 SE 3 St. was entered and a tennis racket and two bags of clothing were stolen.

Oct.15 A woman reported her car parked at 2201 W. Sample Rd. broken into and her purse with personal identification and papers was stolen.

Oct.15 A man reported his bicycle stolen from a shopping plaza at 1895 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The man was eating lunch at a restaurant when the bicycle was stolen.

Oct.15 The company office at Westway Towing, 2571 W. Hillsboro Blvd. was broken into. The individual responsible for the break-in used tools from the storage room to cut into the company safe. An undetermined amount of cash was stolen.

Oct. 15 Two men reported that four men with a gun approached them in a parking lot at 2430 Country Club Blvd. The women had their purses forcibly removed. Later, police detained for investigation four men suspected of the crime.

Oct.15 A man reported that his car parked at 4031 NE 4 Ave. was broken into and an empty duffel bag stolen.

Oct. 16 A man was arrested for possession of marijuana at 1433 SE 8 St.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Oct. 15 Armed robbery arrest in Deer Creek at the 2400 block of Country Club Blvd.,  just after 2:30 a.m.   BSO deputies responded to an armed robbery that had just occurred.Two female victims were exiting their vehicle when two suspects approached, demanding their purses. One suspect was armed with a firearm. Suspects fled in a vehicle with the victims’ property; deputies quickly BOLO’d the information. One of the on-duty Deerfield Beach supervisors spotted the suspect vehicle and coordinated a felony traffic stop. Four suspects were taken into custody. District deputies did an excellent job with communication and apprehension of suspects. Investigation is continuing.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Oct. 10 A woman reported that her car parked at 2151 NE 42 Court was broken into. Papers were scattered and a GPS was stolen.

Oct. 11 A man reported that the woman who owns the apartment he is living in stole his cell phone. Police have reported many altercations between the man and the woman. The woman said the man has not been paying rent and she is in the process of evicting him. The man reported that the woman has been harassing him. The incident was reported at 2100 NE 38 St.

Oct. 11 A police officer noticed evidence that a car parked at 2701 NE 53 Court had been entered. The officer contacted the woman who owns the car. She saw her car had been entered and noticed that her GPS and its charger had been stolen.

Oct. 11 A man rented a car while his was being repaired. He became ill and required hospitalization. When he returned to his home at 2100 NE 38 St., he noticed the car missing. He reported the car stolen.

Oct. 12 A man reported that the left wheel of his car was stolen. The incident was reported at 2700 NE 46 St.

Sept. 27 A home at 417 NE 1 Ave. was reported being broken into. A tote bag with nail tech supplies was stolen. The home was ransacked.

Sept. 28 An unknown individual or individuals stole 10 rolls of copper wire worth about $3,900 from an underground line. Theft was reported at 71 SE 21 Ave.

Sept. 29 A man reported his home at 3841 NE 4 Terr. broken into and a flat-panel television and desktop computer stolen.

Sept. 29 A home at 4040 NE 6 Ave. was reported as having been broken into and about $25,000 worth of jewelry stolen from a box in the master bedroom.

Sept.30 A woman reported her car stolen from her home at 1295 SE 7 Court. She also reported $6,400 worth of scuba diving equipment taken from her garage. An individual suspected of taking the equipment attended a social event at the woman’s home. Detectives went to the suspect’s home and saw the scuba equipment. Suspect was transported to the district office and questioned.

Sept. 30 A complaint was received from US Auto LTD at 4371 N. Dixie Hwy. The person making the complaint said that a BMW M-5 for sale was stolen.

Sept. 30 A man reported that an attempt was made to break into his home at 1487 SW 27 Terr.

Oct. 1 The property manager of a warehouse at 661 NE 42 St. reported that a bay at the warehouse was broken into.

Oct. 1 A woman reported that her home at 1421 SE 14 Court was broken into and two televisions, a play station and video games were stolen.

Oct. 2 A woman reported her home at 215 NW 2 Way was broken into and jewelry valued at more than $5,000 stolen.

Oct. 2 A woman reported that her wallet was stolen from her bag while she was at the Royal Fiesta Event Center at 1680 SE 3 Court.

 

DEERFIELD —District 4

Sept. 29 Auto theft was reported at La Quinta, 100 SW 12 Ave., between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Victim parked his 2007 Ford F-350 in the parking lot at this location, and when he returned to the vehicle, he found it missing. Victim had miscellaneous tools and electronic equipment inside the vehicle.

Sept. 30 Residential burglary took place in Waterford Homes at 1487 SW 28 Terr., at 12:17 p.m. Victim reported that unknown person(s) attempted to gain access to the residence by breaking out the rear sliding glass door. Suspect(s) did not gain entry and fled after the residence’s alarm sounded. No latent prints recovered/no video/negative canvass.

 

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Sept. 21 A man reported that he and his girlfriend were punched in the face by a man known to them. The woman who was struck reported that the girlfriend of the man who threw the punch stole her pocketbook. When the woman contacted the woman who had taken the pocketbook, she was told the pocketbook would not be returned. Report was filed at 3870 NE 22 Terr.

Sept. 22 In an incident involving the people in the previous report, a man said he allowed a man, his girlfriend and their baby to stay in his apartment at 3870 NE 22 Terr. Later, the man noticed three gold charms missing from his bedroom. The man later heard that man’s girlfriend pawned the charms.

Sept. 19. A man was arrested and charged with burglary of a home. He attempted to pawn a television, laptop and DVD. The arrest was made at 4464 Crystal Lake Dr.

Sept. 19. A man reported that a mobile home owned by his parents was broken into and ransacked. A neighbor reported that he saw a man taking property from the mobile home at 5211 NW 3 Ave.

Sept. 19. A man was arrested and charged with breaking into a home at 1491 SW 7 Terr. Owner of the home reported that a laptop, Nintendo Wii game system and jewelry were stolen.

Sept. 19. A woman reported that her Honda Accord was burglarized and a pocketbook, shoulder bag, cell phone, $20 and checkbook were stolen. Incident was reported at the Chevron Gas Station at 998 S. Federal Hwy.

Sept. 19. A woman reported that her car, parked at 1041 E. Hillsboro Blvd., was entered, and a purse, two credit cards, Florida driver’s license and checkbooks were stolen. Car was unlocked.

Sept. 20. A man reported that his home at 1456 SE 7 Court was broken into and two flat screen televisions, a Fender guitar and laptop were stolen. House was ransacked.

Sept. 20. A woman hired Nina’s Cleaning Service to clean her home at 917 SE 11 St. Woman reported that the individual who cleaned her home stole a 2.02 carat platinum diamond ring valued at $16,325.

Sept.  20. A victim reported an air-conditioning unit stolen from a rental property at 1200 SW 6 Terr.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Sept. 26  Auto theft was reported at Tecta America, 1431 SW 30 Ave.,  between 3 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 26. Unknown perpetrator stole the business’ 2005 dump truck (white cab and black bed.)

Sept. 24 Residential burglary occurred in Deer Creek, at 2286 Country Club Blvd. Victim reported observing an unknown male in front of residence, who questioned about the lake behind the residence. Victim and subject walked through the residence to the lake. Upon returning to the residence, victim observed jewelry on the floor and, upon checking further, noticed more jewelry missing. Victim reported the garage door was left open during this time. Reported loss: $6,000. Scene was processed.

Sept. 21 Residential burglary took place in Crystal Key Pointe, 1243 NW 51 St. Victim reported that unknown suspect(s) entered residence via the front door (unlocked door via broken side window) and ransacked the den and family room. Scene processed for latent prints with positive results. Total loss of TV, electronics and jewelry: $3,600.

Sept. 15. A man was reported as being observed trespassing in an apartment complex at 4103 NE 22 Ave.

Sept. 18. A man reported his Toyota Tundra stolen from his driveway at 3021 NE 36 St.

Sept. 19. A woman reported that her car was broken into at 3100 N. Federal Hwy. She said her briefcase and pocketbook were stolen.

Sept. 18 An employee at Freedom Marine Center, 790 NW 1 Terr., saw a man jump a fence on the company’s property and break into a vessel. The man was arrested and charged with burglary to a business.

Sept. 18 A man was stopped for a traffic violation at 100 SW 4 St. The man was observed throwing cocaine out the window. Man admitted to having purchased the cocaine. He was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics.

Sept. 18 A neighbor of the victim of a home burglary observed four men behind the home at 1190 SW 5 Ave. The home was broken into. A flat-screen television and $400 were stolen.

Sept. 18 A woman reported that her home at 5031 NE 7 Ave. was broken into and electronic equipment was stolen.

Sept.18 A man reported that his neighbor told him his Jet Ski was stolen from his dock at 960 Crystal Lake Dr.

Sept.18 A man reported his car and 10-speed bicycle stolen from his home at 27 Centennial Court, the Waterways.

Sept.17 A man and woman were arrested and charged with breaking into a home at 57 SE 6 Ave. and stealing $300 worth of property. Some of the property was reported to have been sold.

Sept. 17 A home at 770 SE 2 Ave. was broken into and two bicycles were stolen.

Sept.16  A man reported his truck stolen from 1633 SE 5 Court.

Sept. 16 A man reported his home at 824 NE 4 Court broken into and a laptop, jewelry and DVD player stolen.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Sept. 17 Grand theft, 3650 SW 10 St., between 6 and 8 a.m.Complainant reported that unknown person(s) had stolen three storm drains covers valued at $600. Area was canvassed with negative results.

NOTE: Over the weekend, Independence Bay experienced several overnight vehicle burglaries. Most of the vehicles were left unlocked with items of value inside. Please remember to lock your doors and remove property from your vehicles.

Sept. 16 Residential burglary arrest, 5391 NW 2 Ave., Highland Meadows Estates. During an ongoing investigation, suspect was identified by witnesses in this case. An alert was disseminated and suspect was arrested for an active warrant. Information was received about location of possible stolen property. Contact was made and five large flat- screen televisions were recovered. Analysis showed several residential burglaries have occurred in the Highland Meadows development in which flat-screen televisions were targeted. Post Miranda, arrestee provided several different stories as to where  the televisions came from and became uncooperative. He was charged with burglary residence and grand theft. Investigation is ongoing.

Sept. 10-16 Residential burglary, 5330 NW 4 Ave., Highland Meadows Estates.  Complainant who is responsible for the residence while the owners are away reported that unknown person(s) had broken into the above-listed residence. Point of entry was by a rear window that was forced open. Suspect(s) then made a spaghetti dinner and possibly took a 50″ TV and a computer. Owners of the residence could not be contacted at time of report to verify the items taken. Scene was processed and the area was canvassed.

 

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Sept. 14 A woman reported a wallet, two prescription medications and $10 missing from her purse. She said the items may have dropped from her purse or been stolen while she was pumping gas at Lighthouse Point Sunoco, 3900 N. Federal Hwy.

Sept.14 A man reported that a woman approached him in the parking lot of Dollar Tree at 3780 N. Federal Hwy. and asked to use his cell phone. He handed her the cell phone and she ran away with it.

Sept.11 Two women became involved in a physical fight at Wahoo’s Sports Bar ‘N Grill at 3128 N. Federal Hwy. Neither woman wanted to press charges. The incident was reported as mutual combat.

Sept. 10 A man who suffers from dementia reported that his daughter-in-law stole $200 worth of prescription drugs from his home. Report was made at 4500 N. Federal Hwy. Because of his dementia, police are not sure if the incident he reported really happened.

Sept. 8. A realtor reported that an apartment at 1337 S. Dixie Hwy. was broken into and a garbage disposal unit was stolen.

Sept. 9. A man was arrested and charged with grand theft. While working at Reagan Wireless, at 720 S. Powerline Rd., he stole cell phones and cell phone accessories and sold them on eBay.

Sept. 10. The manager of a Chevron Station, at 3355 W. Hillsboro Blvd., reported that a man entered the store and stole an 18-pack of Bud Light beer. The man fled the store.

Sept. 10. A man reported that while his car was parked at 1300 W. Hillsboro Blvd., a catalytic converter was stolen from his car.

Sept. 10. A man was arrested and charged with felony possession of narcotics at 200 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The man was observed discarding two rocks of crack cocaine.

Sept. 10. A woman reported her home at 330 SE 4 St. broken into. She reported that a jewelry box with pieces of jewelry was stolen.

Sept. 11. A man reported that his home, at 4464 Crystal Lake Dr., was broken into and two flat-screen televisions, a surround sound system, a computer and DVD were stolen.

Sept. 11. A man was observed stealing items while he worked at Target, at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. When questioned by store security, the man fled.

 

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Sept. 1. A man reported that he lost his wallet after taking a taxi home from North Broward Hospital. Report was made at 1901 NE 28 St.

Sept. 3. The manager of Publix Supermarket, at 3700 N. Federal Hwy., reported that a man stole two sandwiches from the store. The man was briefly detained and admitted to the theft. The man was issued a trespass warning and told not to return to the store.

Sept. 5. A woman reported a burglary at her home at 2800 NE 30 Ave. The woman reported that her safe had been entered and $10,000 worth of jewelry stolen. There was no sign of forced entry to the safe.

Aug. 31 An individual stole an electronic meter secured to the rear of the New Image Building, 159 SW 1 Terrace.

Aug. 31 A woman reported that someone stole her backpack with clothing, currency and sunglasses at 200 N. Ocean Blvd. Loss was estimated at $340.

Sept. 1 A man reported his Freightliner Century Tractor stolen from 4250 N. Powerline Rd.

Sept. 1 A man reported that someone entered his unlocked car and tampered with his radio. The man also said his trunk was entered and information regarding players on the Packer/Rattlers football team was stolen. Incident was reported at 939 Siesta Key Blvd.

Sept. 1 A man reported his home at 1331 SW 10 Ave. broken into. He said that 18 watches were stolen. Total loss was estimated at $20,000.

Sept. 1 An individual stole a Wabash Cargo trailer containing $73,600 worth of appliances, electronic items and personal items intended for military personnel overseas. The trailer was removed from a cab parked at 1520 S. Powerline Rd.

Sept. 1 A man reported that his home at 1901 SW 15 Place was broken into. He reported that jewelry and a handgun were stolen. Loss was estimated at $7,900.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Aug. 26 Residential burglary took place in Deer Run, on SW 2 Court, between 7:15 a.m. and 2 p.m. Complainant reported that unknown person(s) had broken into residence. Point of entry was via the rear window, which was pried open. Taken from the residence was a 2’x2′ Brinks safe containing miscellaneous and jewelry. Note: Two windows were broken in the rear of the residence as one of them was an efficiency that is rented. Scene was processed for latent prints and the area was canvassed.

Aug. 27 Conveyance burglary was reported at Deerfield Mall, 3912 W. Hillsboro Blvd. between 4 and 11:30 p.m.Victims state that suspect(s) entered their locked pick-up trucks in the parking lot of Cici’s Pizza. Both vehicles had the door locks punched. Nothing was taken from the first vehicle and entry was not made on the second vehicle.

Aug. 28  Conveyance burglary in Starlight Cove occurred at 4101 NW 6 St. between 4:10 to 5:40 p.m. Unknown person smashed driver’s window and stole wallet containing driver’s license and credit cards. Evidence suggests that suspect broke acrylic nail when smashing window. Broken nail taken as evidence.

Aug. 25 A woman parked her car at Children’s Castle at 4771 NE 22 Ave. She reported that while she was inside the building, someone entered her car and stole her pocketbook.

Aug. 25 A woman reported that while she was in the Trinity Church building at 3901 NE 22 Ave., someone entered her car and stole her purse.

Aug. 26 A man reported that someone entered his car parked at 3500 NE 27 Ave. and stole his wallet with a driver’s license, $150 and four credit cards. Also, stolen was an iPhone.

Aug. 27 A woman reported that someone entered her car at 3500 NE 27 Ave. She said that her purse with $100, a driver’s license, six credit cards and three pairs of glasses were stolen. One of her cards was used at six gas stations and a fast food restaurant.

Aug. 27 A woman was issued a trespass warning at Publix Supermarket at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. Store management believed she was attempting to steal items from the store.

Aug. 26 A man reported that someone entered his apartment at 773 Siesta Key Circle and stole a television, laptop computer and a shotgun.

Aug. 27 It was reported that two pickup trucks were broken into. Nothing was reported stolen. The incident took place at 3912 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Aug. 27 A woman reported that her home at 261 NE 40 Court was broken into, but nothing was stolen.

Aug. 27 A man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief. He was accused of damaging a vehicle parked at 5331 NE 8 Ave. by smashing the windshield and puncturing four tires. Damage was estimated at $316.

Aug. 27 A woman was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor. She was found in possession of two bags of marijuana. She was issued a notice to appear in court.

Aug. 28 A car was broken into at 1000 E. Hillsboro Blvd. The victim reported a purse with credit cards stolen. The credit cards were later used at a Shell gas station and a McDonald’s.

Aug. 28 A man was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at 500 SW 3 Ave.

Aug. 28 A car parked at 4101 NW 6 St. was broken into and a wallet with driver’s license and credit cards was stolen.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

Aug. 20 Conveyance burglary in Constitution Park, 2841 W. Hillsboro Blvd. between 5-5:15 p.m.  Victim states that unknown person(s) entered her vehicle by smashing out a window, then  removed her purse.

Aug. 24 Armed robbery at Mobil gas station, 1200 W. Hillsboro Blvd, at 5:30 a.m. Complainant, who is the night clerk, reported that a 6’ tall, 170 lb. male wearing a ski mask  ran into the store with a gun in hand, took approximately $200 and fled the area. Video surveillance was obtained and the scene was processed. NOTE: A similar robbery with the same suspect description took place at a Walgreen’s in Tamarac just after this incident.

Aug. 24 Felony arrest – narcotics – took place in Deer Creek, 425 Lake Point South Lane. Deerfield SET team and members of SID served a search warrant. Suspect was arrested for cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana over 20 grams. (1,816 grams – 7 plants) Arrestee was transported to the main jail.

Aug. 17 A man reported that his WaveRunner was stolen from his rear dock lift at 3001 NE 46 St.

Aug.17 A woman reported that a package left by her front door by United Parcel Service was stolen. Incident took place at 4111 NE 21 Way.

Aug. 18 A maintenance supervisor at Lighthouse Point Yacht Club reported that a glass mirror in the gymnasium was broken. It was also reported that chairs and trash were thrown into the pool. The incident occurred at 2701 NE 42 St.

Aug.19 A man reported that his home at 1310 SW 8 Ave. was broken into and a gun was stolen.

Aug.20 A woman reported that her car was broken into and a stethoscope and papers were stolen. Incident happened at 2841 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Aug. 20 A man reported he was attacked by a number of people. The man suffered a laceration. Incident happened at 300 SW 3 Ave.

Aug.20 A man’s vehicle was broken into at Surfside Snacks, Inc. at 158 NW 1 Terr. The man reported that a computer, adapter, router, charger and pricing gun were stolen. Value of the stolen items was $3,000.

Aug. 21 After eating lunch at a Wendy’s at 335 W. Hillsboro Blvd., a woman left the restaurant. She soon realized she had left her purse there. She returned and found that her wallet, with her driver’s license, Social Security card, green card and $200 were stolen.

Aug.21 A man reported that someone broke into a parking lot where he stored his boatand that his marine radio and throttle control unit were stolen. Stolen items were valued at $1,450.

 

DEERFIELD — District 4

July 28 – Aug. 11 Residential burglary, Highland Meadows, 5391 NW 2nd Ave. Deputy responded to the trailer park home and made contact. Sometime during listed dates, unknown suspect(s) broke into the victim’s trailer. Entry was made by cutting the screen and entering through an unlocked rear window. Along with the victim’s checkbook, two televisions, one surround sound system, and one digital camera were taken. Scene was processed and latent prints were collected. Matter ws forwarded to CI for further investigation.

Aug. 11 Conveyance burglary arrest in the Hammocks, 4286 NW 1 Place. On Aug. 7, defendant was observed attempting entry into the victim’s vehicle via the driver side door handle. A witness who lives across the street from the victim observed this and confronted the defendant, at which time he ran off to a gold-colored Toyota parked about a block away at the community pool. A double blind photo lineup was presented to the witness. He positively identified the defendant as the person he saw attempting to gain entry into the victim’s vehicle, as well as the person who ran from him when confronted. Defendant was brought in to the District Office by his mother on Aug 11.

Aug. 12 Grand theft arrest at Petland, 3964 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Two individuals were arrested for grand theft after they were identified from surveillance video stealing a Maltese dog, valued at $1,200 from Petland on Aug.11. Stolen dog was recovered and returned to business.

Aug. 15 Auto theft at Home Depot, 60 SW 12 Ave., between 2:10-2:30 p.m. Unknown person stole victim’s vehicle from Home Depot parking lot. Vehicle entered into TTY as stolen.

Aug. 16 Residential burglary in the Hammocks, 4319 NW 1Place, between 9:20 and 9:30 a.m. Unknown suspect/s used an unknown tool to smash out rear glass door, and enter the house. Once inside, alarm was activated, scaring off suspect/s, who exited through the front door without taking any items. No witnesses.

Aug. 16 Conveyance burglary at Chevron gas station, 1790 W. Hillsboro Blvd., at approximately 3:10 p.m.Victim was trying to pump gas, had problem with pump and went inside gas station. She saw two black males taking her purse from inside her vehicle and driving away in a black SUV. BOLO was issued.

Aug.11 A man was detained after being observed stealing a package of Lamisil at the Publix Supermarket at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. The man was issued a trespass warning and told never to return to the store.

Aug.14 A man reported that his Waverunner was stolen from a dock at 3130 NE 48 St.

 Aug.16 A car parked at Sheehan Buick GMC at 2800 N. Federal Hwy. was broken into. A car stereo system was removed.

Aug. 13. A woman reported her Mazda Protégé stolen from the parking lot of her home at 618 Anderson Cir.

Aug. 13. A man reported his Dodge Ram stolen from his home at 660 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Aug. 13. A man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at 200 NW 3 Ave.

Aug.13. The manager of Ace Hardware at 365 S. Federal Hwy. reported that a Stihl chop saw was stolen from the store. The manager said it was valued at $1,029.

Aug. 14. A woman reported her home at 730 NE 50 Court was broken into. She reported two flat-screen televisions, a PlayStation 3, HP flat-screen monitor and blank checks  stolen. The Total value of the items stolen was reported at $1,500.

Aug.14. A man reported that a large yellow compressor valued at $700 was stolen from his work truck at 402 SW 2 St. The man believes his nephew stole the compressor.

Aug. 14. A man reported that someone attempted to break into his Infiniti parked at 402 SW 2 St. The man found a broken knife blade in the side door lock.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Aug. 7. A woman was cutting a palm tree when a man came to her and grabbed her saw. The man told her to stop cutting on the tree. The woman reported that he pushed her to the ground, but a witness said she slipped during the incident. The man reported that he was hit with the saw. Both individuals were issued case cards. Incident took place at 2101 NE 29 St.

Aug. 7. A woman reported that water was coming from the garage and the door of a residence at 2940 NE 39 Court. The matter was reported to police and the water main was shut off, stopping the flow of water from the residence.

Aug. 8. A man reported that his car was burglarized. The car was unlocked. The man reported that his wallet with his Florida driver’s license and $175 were stolen.

DEERFIELD BEACH

Aug. 5. A man reported that three men attacked him for no reason at 1250 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

Aug. 5. A man was arrested and charged with theft at the Target store on 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. He was observed placing meat into a suitcase and attempted to leave the store without paying for the meat.

Aug. 5. A woman reported that she was approached by two men on foot. One man pulled her to the ground and demanded property. The man removed a chain from her neck at 411 NW 1 Terr.

Aug. 6. A man was arrested and charged for improper exhibition of a firearm at 925 S. Ocean Blvd. The man was involved in an argument and began waving a gun.

Aug. 6. A man was observed breaking into a car at 660 Siesta Key Circle. The man fled when he realized he was being watched.

Aug. 6. A man was arrested and charged with aggravated battery after stabbing an individual following an argument. Incident took place at 500 SW 3 Ave.

Aug. 6. A woman was stopped for a traffic violation at 1200 W. Hillsboro Blvd. She was then arrested and charged with possession of narcotics. She was found with crack cocaine and a crack pipe.

Aug. 7. Banks notified a woman that she was the victim of fraudulent activity on her credit cards. She realized her purse was stolen from Duffy’s. Incident was reported at 401 N. Federal Hwy.

Aug. 7. A man was arrested and charged with a narcotics felony at 600 NE 44 St. He was in possession of crack cocaine.

Aug. 7. A man was observed trying to break into a car at 4286 NW 1 Place. Suspect fled on foot.

Aug. 7. A woman was arrested and charged with theft at Publix. She stole $45.56 worth of merchandise from the store. She was issued a trespass warning and a notice to appear in court.

 

DEERFIELD – District 4

Aug. 4 Residential burglary was reported at 107 Lock Rd. Complainant said unknown person(s) had broken into his apartment. Point of entry was via the front door, which was pried open. Taken from the residence was a 50″ TV, PlayStation and credit cards. Scene was processed for latent prints and the area was canvassed. Aug. 7 ARREST was made when victim called BSO advising he saw suspect who had committed his residential burglary. During a consensual search, deputies recovered victim’s PlayStation. Suspect was transported to the station, where he confessed to a detective that he had taken a 50″ television and Playstation from the victim’s residence and also stated that he sold the television for $400.

Aug. 8 Conveyance burglary ARREST, 1074 S. Military Tr. (apartment complex just south of SW 10 St. on Military Tr.) Deputies responded to a burglary conveyance in progress and established perimeter. Witness advised three subjects were entering unlocked vehicles. Helicopter and K-9 unit on scene. Three suspects were apprehended, one by K-9. All three were charged with burglary conveyance.

Aug. 8 Conveyance burglary at 4286 NW 1 Pl., Hammocks at Riverglen. Witness observed subject trying to open victim’s driver door by pulling door handle. He also observed the subject around two other cars nearby. Witness confronted the suspect, who ran to his Toyota parked nearby. Witness blocked in the car and the suspect fled on foot. Suspect was not apprehended. Aviation assisted.

 

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

July 29. A man was arrested and charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana. Incident took place at a McDonald’s at 4830 N. Federal Hwy.

July 30. A man was observed stealing three packages of cookies from a Publix at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. The man was stopped in the parking lot and he returned the cookies. He was issued a trespass warning.

Aug. 1. A man reported his Honda motorcycle stolen. The motorcycle was later recovered. Incident was reported at 2863 NE 35 Court.
