21: It was reported that four Dyson vacuums were stolen from
Target at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

22: A man reported that his motor scooter was stolen at 1200 SW
11 Way.

22: A man was arrested and charged with armed robbery. He stole
a hunting knife and a hatchet from Ace Hardware store at 365 S.
Federal Hwy.

14: Police received several calls reporting a loose pitbull on 21Terrace, 30Court and 23Avenue. The
owner retrieved the dog in all instances. The report does not say if
it was actually the same dog.

13: A woman who owns a vending machine company reported that a
former employee stole money from seven machines. The incident was
reported at 580 N. Federal Hwy.

13: Someone entered a home at 75 SW 12 Ave. and stole a box of
collectable coins.

13: It was reported that someone entered JB Maintenance and
Supply at 75 SE 10 St. and stole a pressure washer valued at $600
from the store room.

14: A man opened a locked perfume case at Walgreens at S.
Military Trl. and stole four bottles of perfume valued at $361.

14: A man and a woman stole six 18 packs of beer valued at $208
from Publix at 150 S. Federal Hwy.

15: A man reported a backpack with a cell phone, $180 and
clothing stolen. The incident was reported at 2068 NE 2 St.

31: The alarm company reported that the business at 2490 N.
Federal Hwy. had its burglar alarm going off. They attempted to
contact the key holder to no avail. A perimeter was established and
there were no signs of an intrusion.
Aug.
2: Police responded to a shoplifting in progress at 3780 N.
Federal Hwy. The store manager said a female subject entered the
store with two purses and proceeded to place items in one of them
while walking around the store. Police were asked to confront the
subject inside the store, and she told officers that she had no
intention of taking the items and that she placed them in her purse
because her cart was full. She was found to have some active warrants
out of Broward County and was taken into custody without incident.

Aug. 6: A man reported that he saw another man use an unknown object to break the rear window of his vehicle while he was driving on 10 SW 10 St. The damage was estimated at $200.
Aug. 6: A woman was arrested and issued a Notice to Appear because she stole $210 worth of merchandise from T.J. Maxx at 3812 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Aug. 9: It was reported that someone stole an RC car valued at about $800 from RC Boca Hobbies at 442 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Aug. 9: A man reported that a man and a woman entered Hillsboro Cove Condominiums at 1301 E. Hillsboro Blvd. and stole his kayak.
Aug. 9: A woman reported that her car parked at 3624 W. Hillsboro Blvd. was broken into and an iPhone 3 valued at $300, a Coach purse valued at $600 and $300 in cash were stolen.
Aug. 9: A woman reported that her purse was stolen from her car parked at 100 N. Military Trl.

July 26: Police responded to 3700 N. Federal Hwy. in reference to three male subjects asking for money throughout the plaza. Police told them a permit was needed and they were trespassed from the store.
July 27: A resident at 4421 NE 24 Ave. found a Goldendoodle with no collar and no tags in the area. He said he would hang on to the dog until the owner was located.
July 31: Police responded to an alarm call at 2414 NE 26 St. Police said it turned out to be a false alarm.

stole a dash camera and passport.

30: A woman reported that someone broke into her home at 6 SE 10
Ct. and stole a vehicle.

31: A woman reported that her home at 341 SE 11 St. was broken
into and two computers and a purse with credit cards were stolen.

31: A man reported that two vehicles parked at his home at 1418
SE 12 Ave. were burglarized.

31: A woman reported that her Toyota Camry was stolen from her
home at 279 SW 3 St.

31: A man reported that a trailer was stolen from 1649 SW 1 Way.
Video surveillance showed two men stealing it.

26: Contact was made with a victim at 3580 N. Federal Hwy. to
pick up surveillance video from a recent theft. Police then combed
through the License Plate Recognition and found a vehicle that
matched the description at the location at the time of the theft. It
was later determined that the subject who was driving the vehicle
lived in Pompano, and it was confirmed that she committed the theft.
The victim did not want to prosecute and collected $20 to cover the
loss of the items.
July
26: Police and fire responded to a fire alarm at 2486 N. Federal
Hwy. It was determined to be a false alarm.
July
26: Police responded to a residence at 4410 NE 29Ave.
where the resident said he lost his wallet someplace.

July 23: It was reported that six vehicles parked at Best Western were broken into. The vehicles’ windows were smashed. One wallet was reported stolen. The incident was reported at 1050 E. Newport Center Dr.
July 23. It was reported that wheels and tires were stolen from two vehicles at Enterprise Car Rental at 160 E. Hillsboro Blvd.
July 24: A woman reported that a chain saw and wet tile saw were stolen from her mother’s home. The incident was reported at 428 SE 11 St.
July 24: It was reported that two women stole four clothing items from Target at 1200 S. Federal Hwy.
July 24: A man reported that someone entered his car parked at 4364 NE 9 Ave. and stole $1,000 and a Florida driver’s license.
July 24: A man reported his scooter was stolen from 1501 Green Rd.

July 18: The store manager at 4758 N. Federal Hwy. was notified by his cleaner that someone took four pool poles and two pool nets from the company truck. A review of store security systems shows a male subject removing the items from a truck and placing them in another truck and fleeing. The truck was captured by the camera reader.
July 20: Police responded to an alarm call at 2120 NE 33 St. The perimeter was found to be secure and the alarm was reset.
July 24: A wallet was found in a store at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. by an employee. It was placed in property at the police department.

July 16: It was reported that multiple vehicles parked at 315 SW 32 Ave. had their windows smashed and items removed.
July 19: Someone smashed the passenger window of a vehicle parked at 2403 W. Hillsboro Blvd. and stole a purse with reading glasses and a Florida driver’s license.
July 19: A woman reported that someone attempted to break into her home at 1231 SE 10 St. An A/C unit was tampered with.
July 19: An elderly woman reported that a man and woman came to her apartment and said they had done some work for her in the backyard. She went to the backyard with them. Upon returning, she discovered that cash and jewelry were missing from the apartment. The incident was reported at 1977 SW 15 St.
July 19: It was reported that someone stole the engine computer to a truck at Approved Moving at 1501 NW 49 Ct.
July 19: A man reported that he believes a person who he knows entered his home at 1056 S. Military Trl. and stole two televisions, three playstations and one computer.

July 12: The victim believed she left her wallet in a Lyft driver’s vehicle at 3722 N. Federal Hwy. She was advised to contact the driver and was awaiting a response.
July 12: A resident called police to report she had found two dogs at 2216 NE 27 St. She later called back and said that the owner was located, and the call was cancelled.
July 14: Police responded to an alarm call at 2801 NE 46 St. The property was checked and found secure.

July 9: The manager of Hobby Lobby at 4555 W. Hillsboro Blvd. was notified by Hobby Lobby loss prevention headquarters that they had discovered via video that someone stole $420 worth of crystals.
July 10: A man reported that his vehicle was broken into and $60 in cash, as well as credit cards and a pair of sunglasses, were stolen. The incident was reported at 201 E. Sample Rd.
July 10: A man reported that while he was unloading his vehicle at 312 Ocean Dr., the North Beach Pavilion, someone stole his bag containing a camera valued at $2,600, a lens valued at $800 and another lens valued at $100.
July 10: A man and a woman were observed stealing two printers from Target at 1200 S. Federal Hwy.
July 10: While a woman was pumping gas at a Chevron station at 1201 S. Military Tr., someone entered the vehicle and stole her purse, which contained $150.

July 2: A man, who lives in the 2300 block of NE 28 Ct., went to the police department to report that his American Express card had been used for three online purchases totaling $410.74 that he did not authorize. The victim told police that he gave his son the Amex card the day before to use for two purchases, but it was returned.
July 3: Police responded to a report of a pit bull walking on the street at 2830 NE 21Terr. The dog found its way home.
July 3: Police responded to an alarm call at 2824 NE 28 Ct. When police arrived, the subject inside said she was a friend of the family and was dog sitting for them and no pass code was given. It was deemed a false alarm.

a residence at 1280 SW 6 Way. The residence is being remodeled.

25: A woman reported her motorcycle stolen from 400 SE 10 St.

1101 SW 15 St.

25: A woman reported her house at 1547 SW 22 Way was broken into.
Her purse and her vehicle were stolen.

headphones and a wallet were stolen.

29: Police responded to a call of a fence on fire at 4920 NE 22Ave. When they arrived, they discovered a live power line
hitting a tree, a blown transformer, and there was a power outage in
the area. FPL also responded.

29: Police responded to an alarm call at 3527 NE 32Ave.
When they arrived, they discovered an open garage. The house was
secure.
June
30: Police responded to an audible alarm call at 2430 NE 33St. When they arrived, they discovered an open garage and
several doors to the house unlocked. Police checked the residence and
found it to be secure. Police gave the homeowner a crime prevention
warning.

at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The man said he had locked it.

W. Hillsboro Blvd. and stole two Apple cell phones. The total loss
was $1,850.

21: A man was seen in a surveillance video stealing a scooter
from a driveway at 396 NW 45 Terr.

21: It was reported that someone entered the recreation building
at Constitution Park at 2841 W. Hillsboro Blvd. and stole a computer
and projector from the play area. The loss was estimated at $1,300.

22: Someone stole water purifiers from the Target at 1200 S.
Federal Hwy. The loss was estimated at $134.

13: Someone stole three boat propellers off a 39 ft. powerboat at
3741 NE 28St. It was later discovered that there was a
contract with a party and the incident was deemed a civil matter. The
propellers were $500 each.

13: Police responded to a silent alarm call at a bank at 3550 N.
Federal Hwy. It was discovered that an overnight crew was working on
the ATM and the alarm was cleared.
June
13: Police responded to an alarm call at 4610 N. Federal Hwy. A
proper code was received prior to the police arrival and the call was
cleared.
