11: A man reported that his Honda motorcycle was stolen from his
home at 684 Siesta Key Cir. It was taken from underneath a stairwell.

11: Two men were observed stealing an SUV from a carport at 500
SE 3 St. They were able to find the keys to the vehicle by rummaging
through the interior.

11: The owner of Metro Cleaning at 1625 SW 1 Way reported that he
saw on a security camera a man draining fuel tanks to his two work
vehicles.

11: A man reported that his bicycle was stolen from his home at
450 NW 51 Ct.

11: Two men entered a BrandsMart at 821 SW Natura Blvd. and stole
four speakers for a total loss of $560.

11: Two unlocked vehicles parked at 472 NW 2 Terr. were
burglarized. A Zebra phone valued at $2,500 was stolen from one of
the vehicles.

5: A Brazilian license was found at 2160 NE 48Ct.

10: A victim said she was chased by two pit bulls at 2843 NE 25Ct. She told police she was walking with her two children and
noticed two dogs a couple of houses away. She said all of a sudden
the dogs began to charge, and she retreated into a neighbor’s
house. The owner of the dogs said the landscaper left the gate open,
and the dogs got out. He was issued a violation of a city ordinance.

11: Public works employees found a pair of black Ray-Ban
sunglasses at 4521 NE 22Ave., and they were placed into
property.

4: A man reported his Mercedes Maybach S600 was stolen from his
driveway at 69 NE 11 Way. The vehicle is valued at $200,000.

4: A woman reported her bicycle stolen from Cambridge G. Century
Village security reported that a CCTV camera caught an image of a van
pulling up next to the bicycle and a man loading the bicycle into the
van.
June
4: A technician at Tedder Elementary School at 4157 NE 1 Terr.
reported that two computers were missing. The total loss for the
computers was $470.

5: A man reported that his Subaru Outlook was stolen from 33 Deer
Creek Rd.
June
5: A woman reported that someone entered her vehicle parked at
4400 NE 2 Ave. and stole $250 in cash.

30: A resident who lives on the 4400 block of NE 31Ave.
said she hosted a high school reunion for about 30 guests and could
not find a 14K gold bracelet. She began asking guests, and a server
at the party found the bracelet and placed it on the bathroom counter
figuring one of the guests who lost it would retrieve it. When the
victim went to the bathroom, the bracelet was missing. The loss was
$2,750.

11: The victim said he renewed his auto tag about a month ago at
2772 NE 31 Ave., and, when he received the envelope, the yellow tag
was not affixed to the registration. He said the envelope did not
appear to be opened. He was told to make a police report.
June
9: Police responded to a residence regarding a lost gun at 4251
NE 23Ave. The victim believed the gun was misplaced, and
he last saw it a month and a half ago. The loss is $489.

burglarized. The suspect stole about $100 in coins and fled through
the front door.

30: A woman reported that someone entered her car parked at 107
SE 10Ct. and stole loose change for a total loss of $30.

31: A man reported his bicycle stolen at 1937 NE 4 Ct.

31: It was reported that a woman tried to steal items from Target
at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. She fled when approached by loss
prevention officers.

31: A woman reported that someone entered her apartment at 303
Oakridge Q and stole about $50 in coins.

2: It was reported that multiple vehicles were burglarized at a
pavilion used for a 5K race at 401 S. Powerline Rd. Various items
including cash, a ring, credit cards and purses were stolen from the
cars.

2: A woman reported her car parked at 812 NW 47 St. was broken
into and a phone charger was stolen.

28: Police responded to a call at 3580 N. Federal Hwy. of a dog
barking inside of a car with the windows rolled up. The car was
running and the A/C was on. The owner responded and showed officers a
temperature system that would alert him if the temperature got too
high.

28: The resident was worried that a dog continued to jump a small
fence at 2601 NE 48 Ct. Police responded and were able to block the
gate to prevent further occurrences.
May
30: Police responded to a call of property that was found at the
post office at 2091 NE 36St. The owner of the property
was contacted and said that the card that was found could be
destroyed.

21: A man reported his car burglarized and headphones, a wallet
and a PayPal card were stolen. The incident was reported at 116 SW 9
St.

21: A home at 204 SW 3 Ct. was burglarized and four shirts and
four pants were stolen.

21: A man entered a BrandsMart USA at 821 SW Natura Blvd. and
stole a Robo vacuum valued at $855.
May
22. A jet ski was stolen from 164 SE 18 Ave. It was later found
by police in Miami Shores and three suspects were arrested in
connection with the theft.

22. A man entered a CVS at 2 S. Federal Hwy. and stole $180 worth
of merchandise and fled.

24: A resident who lives on the 2400 block of NE 21Ave.
contacted police because he thought he was the victim of a vehicle
burglary because he was unable to locate his wallet. After further
investigation, it was determined his wallet was missing since there
were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle and other items were
still in place.

25: Police responded to a call of two Rottweilers in a park at
5200 NE 31Ave. When they arrived, the dogs were gone.
May
26: Police responded to a burglar alarm at 4121 NE 23Terr.
When they arrived, they walked the perimeter and found the home
secure.

14: A woman reported that her former boyfriend “borrowed” her
car but has not returned it. She has made efforts to contact him. The
incident was reported at 772 Tivoli Cir.

14: A woman was arrested and charged for stealing bed sheets from
Target at 1200 S. Federal Hwy.

14: A woman reported her vehicle stolen from 623 Anderson Cir.
May
16: A woman reported her car broken into and a purse with credit
cards stolen. The incident was reported at 3656 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

14: While on routine patrol, police found a medium-sized dog at
2701 NE 42 St. roaming in the parking lot. The dog did not have a tag
or microchip and was transported to the department. A resident
claimed the dog a short time later.

14: A small dog was recovered at 3800 NE 21Ave. and
was returned to the owner before police arrived.
May
14: The victim said she lost a Samsung Galaxy phone with a
cracked screen in a store at 3780 N. Federal Hwy. The phone was later
found in a nearby store and returned to the owner.

26: Police were responding to a call of a loose dog in the
neighborhood of 2800 NE 51 St. The resident said the owner of the
dog was located and they could cancel the call.

8: Police were responding to a call of an audible alarm at 3898
N. Federal Hwy. The area was checked and all was secure.

Video surveillance showed no one entered from the outside. The area
was secure and the alarm was reset.

30: It was reported that a man struck another man in the face
with a handgun. The incident was reported at 920 NE 52 Ct.

30: A man reported that he was robbed at knife point by another
man in front of a Marathon gas station at 4517 N. Dixie Hwy. The man
said he was robbed of his bus pass.

30: A man reported that a man who was working for him stole about
$10,000 of tools from him. The incident was reported at 272 SW 12
Ave.

30: A man reported that a man stole his vehicle from him while it
was parked in front of a dry cleaner. The incident was reported at
1090 E. Hillsboro Blvd.

3: A man reported that some tools were stolen from his van at 225
NW 36 Ave.

13: Police responded to a call about a snake in the backyard of a
residence at 2150 NE 49 St. The resident said the snake was hissing
and appeared aggressive. It was gone by the time police arrived and
the resident was advised to contact a pest control service for a long
term solution.

13: Police responded to a call of a fraudulent credit card
purchase at 4210 N. Federal Hwy. Upon investigation, the $920
purchase was made online and not in the store, so no crime had been
committed.

16: Police responded to a call for pit bulls at 2800 NE 35St. The owner was found prior to the police arrival.

was broken into and a wallet was stolen.

23: A woman reported that a man placed his hands around her neck
and intentionally choked her at 860 SE 6 Ave.

were burglarized. Each car had a window smashed. There were no
confirmed thefts.

23: A woman reported that her car parked at 1021 Crystal Lake Dr.
was broken into and her sunglasses, backpack and purse were stolen.

23. A former employee of Superior Plumbing at 457 Goolsby Blvd.
did not return plumbing tools after quitting his job with the
company. Several efforts were made to contact him, and it is believed
he pawned the tools.

9: Two men, one armed with a semi-automatic handgun, snatched car
keys from a man who was pumping air into his tires at the Shell gas
station at 301 E. Sample Rd. The two men then stole the man’s Honda
Accord.

10: A woman reported being pushed against a wall and then being
thrown to the ground by her live-in boyfriend at 1368 SW 24 Terr.

10: A man reported his work phone stolen from his pickup truck at

31: Did you lose a stuffed animal? A resident found a stuffed
animal at 3400 NE 23 Ave. It was turned over to police.

1: A box of baseball uniforms was found on a bench at 4541 NE 22
Ave. The owner was notified and he said he would pick them up the
next morning.

3: Did you lose your dog? While on routine patrol, an officer
observed a small dog walking at 2820 NE 48 St. The officer retrieved
the dog and placed it in the rear of the patrol car. The officer
checked for open gates, garage doors or open doors and couldn’t
find any so he took the dog back to the department.
