April 9: A man reported his chainsaw valued at $300 stolen from 548 NW 2 Terr.

April 9: Two men, one armed with a semi-automatic handgun, snatched car keys from a man who was pumping air into his tires at the Shell gas station at 301 E. Sample Rd. The two men then stole the man’s Honda Accord.

April 10: A woman reported being pushed against a wall and then being thrown to the ground by her live-in boyfriend at 1368 SW 24 Terr.

April 10: A man reported his work phone stolen from his pickup truck at 5031 NE 6 Ave.

April 12: A woman reported her Honda Civic stolen from her home at 2852 SW 11 Pl.

March 31: Did you lose a stuffed animal? A resident found a stuffed animal at 3400 NE 23 Ave. It was turned over to police.

April 1: A box of baseball uniforms was found on a bench at 4541 NE 22 Ave. The owner was notified and he said he would pick them up the next morning.

April 3: Did you lose your dog? While on routine patrol, an officer observed a small dog walking at 2820 NE 48 St. The officer retrieved the dog and placed it in the rear of the patrol car. The officer checked for open gates, garage doors or open doors and couldn’t find any so he took the dog back to the department.

April 2: A woman reported her wallet, cash, driver’s license and personal papers stolen. The incident took place at 4026 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

April 2: A man reported his car parked at 615 Siesta Key Cir. was broken into and an airbag stolen.

April 2: A woman reported that her car parked at 410 SE 13 Ct. was entered and cash and coins totaling $143 were stolen.

April 3: A man reported that his vehicle parked at 500 NE 41 St. was broken into. The passenger window was broken and the damage was estimated at $300.

April 3: A man reported that his vehicle parked at 642 Siesta Key Cir. was entered. Stereo speakers valued at about $1,000 were stolen from the trunk.

April 4: A man reported his vehicle was stolen from 4233 NW 6 St. He saw the vehicle being stolen on video.

Lighthouse Point

March 27: Police responded to a hazmat call of natural gas at 2717 NE 26Ave. Police said the odor was coming from the house. A second hazmat unit was sent and no leak could be detected.

March 27: Police responded to an alarm call at 2660 NE 46 St. The property was found secure. 

March 28: A resident found keys at 2464 N. Federal Hwy. The keys were turned over to police.

March 26: A man reported that someone stole his toolbox with his tools and an air compressor for a total loss of $14,200. The incident was reported at the Crystal Lake Commerce Center at 4250 N. Powerline Rd.

March 26: A man was arrested and charged with retail theft at Home Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave. He stole $472 worth of merchandise.

March 26: Two men were arrested and charged with stealing a drill and a hedge trimmer from Home Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave.

March 26: A woman reported that her sheets were stolen from a washing machine at 1181 SE 6 Ave.

March 27: A man was arrested and charged with burglary and battery at 400 SW 2 St. He battered four victims, and, in addition, he stole two porcelain items.

Lighthouse Point

March 27: The victim said she wanted a male subject trespassed from her home in the 4400 block of NE 26Ave. She befriended the male at her church and said because of his erratic behavior she wanted him to leave. 

March 27: Police responded to an alarm call at 3772 N. Federal Hwy. The perimeter was found secure. 

March 27: Police responded to an alarm call at 2500 N. Federal Hwy. It was deemed a false alarm.

March 19: A man reported that a man he knows stole his bicycle. The incident was reported at 575 Deer Creek Jefferson Dr.

March 19: A man reported that his vehicle, an Elantra, was stolen by a man in front of Ali Market at 5361 N. Dixie Hwy. The car had been left running while the man who owns it went into the store.

March 19: The Store Manager of Urbieta Oil reported that an employee using a register scanner loaded $650 on to four prepaid cards. The incident was reported at 1900 N. Powerline Rd.

March 19: A woman reported her bicycle stolen from her home at 123 NE 9 Ave.

March 20: It was reported that the wheels and tires of a vehicle parked at 959 SE 2 Ave. were stolen. The loss was estimated at $2,000. 

Lighthouse Point

March 13: Police responded to an alarm at 3170 N. Federal Hwy. There was no answer. Everything was secure.

March 16: Police received a hit on a tag attached to a white Lincoln at 2200 NE 45 St. A canvas of the area revealed nothing. It was a possible misread. 

March 16: A white iPhone was found at a business at 3500 NE 27 Ave. The owner called the phone and was told to retrieve the property at the police department.

March 12: Two men broke into the Metro PCS store at 845 S. Federal Hwy. They broke the glass on the front door. The men stole a safe with nothing of value inside.

March 12: It was reported that a Toyota Corolla was stolen from 1231 SW 11 Ave.

March 12: A man was observed stealing three Dewalt impact kits valued at $399 each from Home Depot.

March 12: A man reported that someone opened his credit card and placed $8,285 in chargers on it at 4100 Crystal Lake Dr.

March 13: A woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Target at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. She stole $147.87 worth of merchandise.

March 7: Police responded to a call of a possible social media scam at 3910 NE 30 Ave. Police said there was no loss of money or property and there was no victim information taken.

March 9: The victim told police that a backpack and car keys were lost while at the business at 3550 NE 27 Ave. The property was later found and returned to the victim. 

March 12: Police responded to an audible hold-up alarm at a residence in the 3800 block of NE 26 Ave. The homeowner was inside upstairs and had advised that she heard a noise in the kitchen while she was upstairs. Police responded and everything was secure.

March 5: A man reported that his Honda Accord was stolen from 400 SW 2 St.

March 5: A woman reported that someone stole her wallet from her purse while she shopped at Dollar Tree at 4008 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

March 9: A woman reported her bicycle stolen from 1991 SE 10 St.

March 9: A man reported that the decal on his Florida license plate was stolen from 1180 SE 3 St.

March 10: A man reported his motorcycle stolen from 1100 Crystal Lake Dr.

March 11: It was reported that a trailer was stolen from 1919 NW 40 Ct.

Lighthouse Point

March 7: Police responded to a verbal argument at a daycare center at 3850 N. Federal Hwy. According to reports, the daughter was moved to a different classroom and the mother was not aware of it. When she arrived, she was concerned that her daughter was missing before daycare workers brought her to her. The mother then threatened to burn the center down despite attempts to calm her. She was given a trespass warning but refused to sign it. 

March 7: Police responded to an alarm call at 2320 NE 47 St. The perimeter was found secure and the reason for activation was unclear. 

March 7: Police responded to a call of a loose dog at 2100 NE 49 St. The witness said the dog was wearing a blue collar and headed towards Federal Highway. The dog was not located.

Feb. 26: It was reported that an X-Box was stolen from Beks Club Hostel at 400 E. Atlantic Blvd.

Feb. 26: A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend took her car keys and hid her vehicle without permission. The incident was reported at 2320 S. Cypress Bend Dr.

Feb. 26: A man reported that another man tackled him, grabbed his neck, punched him in the ribs and stole his wallet. The incident was reported at 599 W. Atlantic Blvd.

Feb. 27: It was reported that the front window of Sunoco at 2351 N. Powerline Rd. was shattered.

March 3: A woman reported her vehicle stolen at 940 NW 9 Ave.

March 3: A man reported being beaten by three men at 405 NW 3 Ave.

Lighthouse Point

Feb. 18: Police responded to an audible alarm at 4940 NE 28 Ave. The home was found to be secure.

Feb. 18: Police received a call of a loose dog with a blue collar at 2500 NE 22 Ave. The area was checked but the dog was not found.

Feb. 20: A bicycle was found at 3899 NE 21 Way. It was recovered and turned into police.

Feb. 19: A man drove up to JB’s on the Beach in an Acura and took four empty beer kegs valued at $36 each and placed in the vehicle. He was confronted by a business employee and then drove off. JB’s has reported that between 30 and 40 beer kegs were stolen in the past week. The incident was reported at 300 N. Ocean Dr.

Feb. 19: A man reported that his computer and headphones were stolen from an unsecured area near his apartment at 4200 Crystal Lake Dr., Apt. 205. He left the items in a bag and made a quick stop to his apartment.

Feb. 19: A woman reported that someone entered her car parked at 120 Jim Moran Blvd. and stole her wallet with credit cards and an iPhone. JM Security showed a man reaching into the window of the car. It was reported that one credit card was later used at a Target on Hillsboro Boulevard.

Feb. 21: A man reported that four rims and tires valued at $150 each were stolen from his vehicle parked at 951 Siesta Key.

Feb. 22: A man reported that someone stole a flat screen television from the office of a restaurant at 2410 Century Blvd.

Lighthouse Point

Feb. 13: Police responded to a report of a subject yelling at customers at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. The subject was trespassed from the premises.

Feb. 13: The victim said he lost $182 at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. and returned the following day to see if anyone had returned it.

Feb. 15: A green and tan umbrella was found by the front door at 3701 NE 22 Ave. It was recovered and turned into police.

Feb. 12: A man reported that a window to his car was removed and sunglasses valued at $220 were stolen. The incident was reported at 4550 NW 18 Ave.

Feb. 12: A man was arrested and charged with dating violence. The man was observed beating a woman he was with at 800 NE 4 St.

Feb. 12: Two men were observed stealing $767 from Home Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave.

Feb. 12: A woman reported that her property at 57 NE 6 Ave. was entered and that someone stole about $1,000 worth of metal from a construction trash can.

Feb. 15: A woman reported that a MacBook valued at $2,300 was stolen. The incident was reported at 2265 SW 15 St.

Lighthouse Point

Feb. 11: A driver’s license was found at 2420 NE 27 St. It was turned over to police.

Feb. 13: Police responded to an alarm of a residence at 1861 NE 22 Way. It was deemed the alarm was accidental after police checked it and found it to be secure.

Feb. 13: Police responded to an audible panic alarm of a residence at 2211 NE 33 St. Police cleared the call after the proper code was entered.

Feb. 6: An 80-year-old man opened his door to a woman he knows. The woman then hit the man in the face and stole his wallet with $1,600 and his social security card. The incident was reported at 465 NW 2 Terr.

Feb. 6: A man reported that someone entered his home at 4551 NE 1 Terr. and stole his firearm, watches, play stations, laptop and other items.

Feb. 7: A man was involved in a domestic dispute with a woman at 1261 SW 7 Ave. The man battered the woman and robbed her of $500.

Feb. 8: A man reported that a man he was spending time with stole his iPhone and left. The incident was reported at 3774 NE 3 Ave.

Feb. 9: A man was observed stealing four bottles of Remy Martin from Walgreens at 1325 S. Military Tr. The loss was about $160.

Lighthouse Point

Feb. 4: Police responded to an audible alarm at 2541 NE 32 Ct. The homeowner returned home and found the front door open and the residence was cleared.

Feb. 4: A resident said a large white dog ran into their open home at 3516 NE 31 Ave. and police were called out. The dog was picked up by its owner prior to police responding.

Feb. 6: Police responded to a report of a barking puppy near 2316 Vintage Cir. Police were unable to find a dog in the area.
