26: It was reported that an X-Box was stolen from Beks Club
Hostel at 400 E. Atlantic Blvd.
Feb.
26: A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend took her car keys and
hid her vehicle without permission. The incident was reported at 2320
S. Cypress Bend Dr.
Feb.
26: A man reported that another man tackled him, grabbed his
neck, punched him in the ribs and stole his wallet. The incident was
reported at 599 W. Atlantic Blvd.

27: It was reported that the front window of Sunoco at 2351 N.
Powerline Rd. was shattered.
March
3: A woman reported her vehicle stolen at 940 NW 9 Ave.

3: A man reported being beaten by three men at 405 NW 3 Ave.

18: Police responded to an audible alarm at 4940 NE 28 Ave. The
home was found to be secure.

18: Police received a call of a loose dog with a blue collar at
2500 NE 22 Ave. The area was checked but the dog was not found.

20: A bicycle was found at 3899 NE 21 Way. It was recovered and
turned into police.

19: A man drove up to JB’s on the Beach in an Acura and took
four empty beer kegs valued at $36 each and placed in the vehicle. He
was confronted by a business employee and then drove off. JB’s has
reported that between 30 and 40 beer kegs were stolen in the past
week. The incident was reported at 300 N. Ocean Dr.
Feb.
19: A man reported that his computer and headphones were stolen
from an unsecured area near his apartment at 4200 Crystal Lake Dr.,
Apt. 205. He left the items in a bag and made a quick stop to his
apartment.

19: A woman reported that someone entered her car parked at 120
Jim Moran Blvd. and stole her wallet with credit cards and an iPhone.
JM Security showed a man reaching into the window of the car. It was
reported that one credit card was later used at a Target on Hillsboro
Boulevard.

21: A man reported that four rims and tires valued at $150 each
were stolen from his vehicle parked at 951 Siesta Key.

22: A man reported that someone stole a flat screen television
from the office of a restaurant at 2410 Century Blvd.

13: Police responded to a report of a subject yelling at
customers at 2450 N. Federal Hwy. The subject was trespassed from the
premises.

13: The victim said he lost $182 at 3700 N. Federal Hwy. and
returned the following day to see if anyone had returned it.

15: A green and tan umbrella was found by the front door at 3701
NE 22 Ave. It was recovered and turned into police.

12: A man reported that a window to his car was removed and
sunglasses valued at $220 were stolen. The incident was reported at
4550 NW 18 Ave.

12: A man was arrested and charged with dating violence. The man
was observed beating a woman he was with at 800 NE 4 St.
Feb.
12: Two men were observed stealing $767 from Home Depot at 60 SW
12 Ave.

12: A woman reported that her property at 57 NE 6 Ave. was
entered and that someone stole about $1,000 worth of metal from a
construction trash can.

15: A woman reported that a MacBook valued at $2,300 was stolen.
The incident was reported at 2265 SW 15 St.

11: A driver’s license was found at 2420 NE 27 St. It was
turned over to police.

13: Police responded to an alarm of a residence at 1861 NE 22
Way. It was deemed the alarm was accidental after police checked it
and found it to be secure.

2211 NE 33 St. Police cleared the call after the proper code was
entered.

6: An 80-year-old man opened his door to a woman he knows. The
woman then hit the man in the face and stole his wallet with $1,600
and his social security card. The incident was reported at 465 NW 2
Terr.

6: A man reported that someone entered his home at 4551 NE 1
Terr. and stole his firearm, watches, play stations, laptop and
other items.

7: A man was involved in a domestic dispute with a woman at 1261
SW 7 Ave. The man battered the woman and robbed her of $500.

8: A man reported that a man he was spending time with stole his
iPhone and left. The incident was reported at 3774 NE 3 Ave.

9: A man was observed stealing four bottles of Remy Martin from
Walgreens at 1325 S. Military Tr. The loss was about $160.

4: Police responded to an audible alarm at 2541 NE 32 Ct. The
homeowner returned home and found the front door open and the
residence was cleared.

4: A resident said a large white dog ran into their open home at
3516 NE 31 Ave. and police were called out. The dog was picked up by
its owner prior to police responding.

6: Police responded to a report of a barking puppy near 2316
Vintage Cir. Police were unable to find a dog in the area.

29: A man reported that someone stole his Viper bass boat and
trailer from in front of his residence at 107 SE 10 Ct.
Jan.
29: A man reported he was robbed by sudden snatching in the lobby
of the LaQuinta Inn by a man who fled on a bicycle. The man was
robbed of a gold necklace valued at $300 and a gold pendant valued at
$400.

29: It was reported that a parked vehicle at 401 S. Powerline Rd.
was entered and a laptop and purse were stolen from inside the
vehicle.

29: A man was arrested and charged with two counts of retail
theft after he walked out of Target at 120 S. Federal Hwy. with an
Air Fryer XL valued at $99.99. He had stolen a similar item on Jan.
26. The man was issued a notice to appear.

29: A woman reported that someone took $7,840 from her home over
a period of time. The incident was reported at 3930 Crystal Lake Dr.
Jan.
29: A man and woman entered a Family Dollar store at 3930 Crystal
Lake Dr. and stole three packages of diapers. They fled in a vehicle.

29: Police responded to a report of a
tow truck on fire in the middle of a roadway at 3600 NE 21 Ave. The
fire department also responded.

31: A resident found a German Shepherd
at 4241 NE 23 Ave. and was turned over to police. The dog was known
to get loose and was returned to its owner.

2: Police responded to a report of a
lost wallet at 3580 N. Federal Hwy. The wallet contained debit cards,
credit cards, a driver’s license and $100 in cash. The victim said
she placed the wallet in the restroom and left, returning a short
time later to discover it was missing. The total loss was $195.

22: A woman reported her vehicle parked at 4757 NW 7 St. and several
pair of sunglasses were stolen.
Jan.
22: A woman reported a vehicle burglary at VOLT Power Company.
Tools and a battery charger were stolen. The incident was reported at
790 NE 48 St.
Jan.
22: A woman reported her vehicle stolen from her apartment parking
lot at 772 Tivoli Cir.
Jan.
22: A woman reported that someone entered her home at 1535 SE 14 St.
and stole six pieces of jewelry. The loss was estimated at $19,500.

24: A man reported his bicycle stolen from outside of the post office
at 212 E. Hillsboro Blvd.

16: The victim returned home to 2160 NE 36 St. following a trip and
found his 2014 Hyundai Sonata missing from in front of his apartment.
It was later determined that the car was towed because it didn’t
have a license plate. The victim said it had a temporary tag but is
unknown if it fell off at some point.

17: A resident found a cell phone at 4521 NE 22 Ave. and handed it
over to police.

17: A resident found sunglasses in a gym and brought them to the
Police Department at 3701 NE 22 Ave. They placed them in a property
locker.

15: A man was arrested and charged with carjacking. He pointed a
gun at a woman who had just been shopping at Dollar Tree. The man
took the woman’s bag and then stole her Mercedes SUV. She was able
to remove her husband from the vehicle before it was stolen. Mercedes
navigation tracked the vehicle and police units stopped it. The man
was apprehended. The incident was reported at 1361 S. Military Tr.

16: A man stole boxes of hair from Ali Beauty Supply at 5353 N.
Dixie Hwy.

16: A woman reported that a former president of the Newport Q
Condominium Association embezzled money from the association’s
bankaccount. The incident was reported at 3080 Newport Q.

16: A woman reported that another woman stole her purse from her
cart while she was shopping at Dollar Tree at 4008 W. Hillsboro Blvd.

16: Two men reported their scooters stolen from 3801 Crystal Lake

A man parked his bicycle on the side of a building at 300 N. Ocean
Dr. The bicycle was unlocked. When the man returned, he found that
the bicycle had been stolen.

13: A resident said he found a Samsung phone on the street in
front of a residence at 2041 NE 36 St. Police placed the phone into
the property locker.

13: A caller found a small dog on the loose at 3873 NE 22 Way.
When the resident approached, the dog ran into a nearby garage.
Police arrived and could not locate the dog.

14: A key was discovered outside a residence at 4730 NE 21 Terr.

8: A man was arrested and charged with retail shoplifting. He
stole a skateboard valued at $169 from Island Water Sports at 1985 SE
2 St. An employee of the store observed the theft and followed him
from the store until the arrest could be made.

9: Two men used counterfeit bills to purchase items from Hobby
Lobby at 3555 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The U.S. Secret Service was
notified.

9: A man reported that someone stole $400 from his wallet at 375
Tilford Rd.
Jan.
9: A man who owns Goval Auto Sales at 3991 N. Dixie Hwy. reported
that someone entered four vehicles on the property and stole a
battery from one of the vehicles.

9: It was reported that a man stole $104 worth of shampoo from
Walgreens at 1325 S. Military Tr.
Jan.
9: A woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting $435 worth
of merchandise from Home Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave.

6: Someone smashed the rear glass window of the victim’s 2000
Honda Acord that was parked at 1911 NE 28 St. Police found a cement
brick inside the vehicle. The damage was estimated at $300.

6: The victim who lives at 3300 NE 30 Ave. said he lost a firearm
and that no crime had occurred.

7: A subject attempted to cash a check for $5,300 at a bank at
4820 N. Federal Hwy. The banker became suspicious of the check coming
from Key West and the subject living in Miami as to why it was being
cashed in Lighthouse Point. The bank called the victim who said he
did not make out a check to the subject. The subject was then taken
into custody without incident.

26: It was reported that 103 cell phones were electronically
purchased by Duckfish Electronics, Inc. from Reagan Wireless at 720
S. Powerline Rd. When the checks were presented at the victim’s
bank, all three were returned as having insufficient funds to cover
the purchases.

26: A woman who is a resident of Century Village reported a
stolen fraudulent check in the amount of $5,500. The incident was
reported at 1030 Lyndhurst J.
Dec.
26: It was reported that a woman stole various items from Bath &
Body Works at 3688 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Dec.
27: A man reported a bicycle stolen from in front of a mobile
home at 875 NE 48 St.
Dec.
27: A woman reported that a customer’s boat being stored at A1
Storage at 1615 SW 45 Way was broken into and a GPS valued at $1,000
was stolen.

21: Police responded to an alarm sounding at a rear laundry room
of a residence at 2411 NE 45 St. Police responded, but were unable to
gain access because the side gate was locked.

21: Police responded to an audible alarm going off at 4420 NE 23
Ave. Police found the residence was secure.
Dec.
21: A small dog was discovered behind a residence at 2743 NE 28
Ct. A resident who lives two doors down said it was his.

Dec. 18: A man was arrested and charged with possession of illegal narcotics at 3599 W. Hillsboro Blvd. in the parking lot of Target. He had MDMA and heroin in his possession.
Dec. 18: A man reported that his van that was parked at 750 Lock Rd. was broken into and a wet tile saw valued at $900 and other miscellaneous tools were stolen.
Dec. 18: A man was arrested and charged with grand theft at Home Depot at 60 SW 12 Ave. The man stole $781 worth of electrical wire from there.
Dec. 18: It was reported that two wheels were stolen from a vehicle parked at Owen Business Systems at 409 Goolsby Blvd.
Dec. 18: A woman was sitting in the driver’s seat of her car parked at 1060 SW 5 Terr. She reported that a man snatched $1,000 from her hand and ran off.
Dec. 24: A man reported his vehicle stolen from 601 NW 42 Ct.

Dec. 14: A resident called police and said there was a loose dog on the second floor of an apartment complex at 4200 NE 22 Ave. Police arrived but they were unable to locate the dog and residents walking outside the complex said they did not see anything.
Dec. 20: The manager said a male subject entered the restaurant at 3784 N. Federal Hwy. and caused a disturbance. Police arrived and were told the subject left and he was found at another nearby store. He was told he was being trespassed from the restaurant.
Dec. 21: Police responded to 4200 NE 22 Ave. in reference to a call of a reckless driver in the area. The driver was reportedly driving fast and peeling out. Police circulated the area and was unable to locate the vehicle.
